    Thank you for taking time out of your trip to make these videos! I’ve been tons of times as an adult. But we’re taking our almost 2 year old in a month and your videos have helped me redirect my planning for age. Thank you!!

      You’re so welcome! It’s a lot of work taking a toddler but you will have so much fun seeing it all through their eyes.

    Thank you so much for this! Seeing the footage of you talking to the cast member under the umbrella is exactly what I needed to fully grasp this! Hubs and I are heading with our toddlers in Sept. and I'm so thankful I found your channel recently!

    This was SO helpful! My main question was whether or not a second rider could go with the rider who swaps out and couldn’t find the answer anywhere so thank you very much!

    Thank you for this video! Question: if you are in a group of 4 adults with 2 kids. Can the first 2 adults go on the ride while the other 2 adults watch the kids and then switch, allowing the second pair of adults to do the ride?

    Tks!! Nice tip! 1 question..on the 2° case. to use the lln both parents must have paid for it?

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For both parents to use the Lightning Lane you would have to pay for it. If you don't the first parent has to go through the standby then the second would go through the LL.

  • @amandarackley8739
    @amandarackley8739 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So, if I purchase 3 LL - one for me, my husband, and my son (our other son isn’t tall enough) - my son can go through twice? Once with me and once with dad?

    Interested in your opinion about whether a younger kid who wants to try this ride, but might be a little nervous, for first ride should we try sitting on the bikes, or do you think they would have a better first experience sitting in the back? Wondering which is less intense and maybe more comfortable. My son will have just turned 6 on our trip! Thanks!

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  ปีที่แล้ว

      The seat in the back was more comfortable for me so I would think that would be the same for a younger rider too.

    So good to know! I think I understand how it works now but I guarantee my anxiety is going to have me like a deer in headlights when it comes time to do it all. Wish me luck 😂

      It's super easy! Just ask the cast member and they will do the rest!

    This is so helpful thank you I was always wondering about this. Can you use rider swap when you rope drop rides?

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can! We used it during parties and after hours events too.

    How is it you know exactly what videos I’m needing before my trip!? ❤😂

  • @stephaniefhicks
    @stephaniefhicks ปีที่แล้ว

    We rope dropped/rider swapped seven dwarfs and slinky dog with my son. The cast members for slinky dog were outstanding- they started going through line before the ride opened and set up rider switch for the parties- it was great I rode Toy Story Mania with our baby while they rode. However for Seven Dwarfs they pulled our party off to the side to set up Rider swap and probably 75-100people went past us in the queue, almost defeating the purpose of rope dropping, still worth it because we used the lightening lane for the second group, but not ideal.

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is awesome about Slinky Dog!! Ugh that is always my fear with needing to rider swap on a rope drop attraction. Wish there was a better way to deal with that so you didn't lose the spot in line you worked so hard for.

    • @Mickayla636
      @Mickayla636 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have half your party stand in line while the other goes to set up the rider swap. You only need the band of whoever is missing the first go so that person go scan with cast member while the other holds your place in line. That’s how my husband and I did it and it worked well for us. Also the bit about having 2 kids and having to pick which one goes twice, the cast members never gave us an issue and let both my oldest go both times. 🤷‍♀️

    • @stephaniefhicks
      @stephaniefhicks ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mickayla636 thank you that’s a great idea!!! We will do that next time :)

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mickayla636 That's great info about only needing the band of the person waiting. The picking one person to be the second rider was info given to me by multiple cast members. That's great that they've let your kids both go though!

    Just curious how if works if you have a bigger group of adults and 2 smalls that can't ride - can two of the adults do a separate rider swap with each child so there's two of you waiting back while the others ride?

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've not tried this but you could definitely try setting it up separately.

    Speaking of rider swap, wich attraction do you recommend to do on rope drop for resort guest at Hollywood Studio? Will we loose too much time by doing an attraction that my baby can not do? Is it better to enjoy the early entry by doing attraction that everybody can do? Thank you! :)

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  ปีที่แล้ว

      It will be easier to rope drop something that everyone can do and use Genie for things they can't. The exception to that is if you want to ride Rise of the Resistance and not purchase the lightning lane. Hope that helps!
