Thank you for joining us on our day trip to Teotihuacan! 🇲🇽 Here is the super convenient tour we used for the entire day trip: gyg.me/Ew0SVOW5 Also, if you’re interested in that travel blanket we mentioned, here it is: www.graveltravel.com/?ref=chadandclaire and remember to use our code CHADANDCLAIRE for 10% off! In next week’s video, we’ll be exploring a colorful town on the Yucatan Peninsula, so stay tuned for adventures at dazzling cenotes, mouth-watering Yucatan cuisine, and a surprise visit to the dentist’s office! 😁
Central Mexico including Mexico City is fantastic. So much history to explore and culture to enjoy. I always laugh when someone says they are going to Mexico but it is really an all inclusive hotel surrounded by a bunch of other Americans/Canadians.
Absolutely! We grew up around many families who only visited Mexico for the beach resorts and all-inclusive hotel chains, so we were thrilled to finally discover for ourselves what Mexico is REALLY about. It's such a vibrant, joyous, and fascinating country with so much good food and mind-blowing history to offer! 💗🇲🇽
Fantastic video you guys!! You really captured the essence and peacefulness of Teotihuacan! Bringing back all the mems! So glad you guys are enjoying Mexico ☺️
Thank you, friends!!! 💗 When we discovered that Mexico City ALSO provided hot air balloon rides, we immediately knew we had to go for it! Love that you both were also able to experience such a magical sunrise. We miss you lots- hope all is well in Vietnam! 😁
What a nice little trip, I always enjoy the food selection lol. Those blanket you have they are the best for traveling we have two and take them on all our trips. Thanks for sharing.
Hahaha we agree- everything is always better with food 🤣 Yesss- happy to be travel blanket twins! 😁 Those blankets are so convenient, and it's great to hear that you love them, too! Thank you so much for watching this video! 💓
You guys are great. I hit up some of your recs in Donosti this summer while in the Basque region. I just got your ultimate guide for CDMX. Thanks for all the recs
Such great quality content guys! You deserve twice the amount of views, easily. And I consider myself to be a bit of a travel vlog snob lol. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for watching and for joining the adventure! 💕 Mexico City is special in so many ways, and we're so glad we were able to experience it! Excited to show you the Yucatan Peninsula next! 😁
Thank you- glad you liked my music choices! 😁 First of all- Pugmaster?! Is that your dog's name??? Because that is just too funny and too cute. Gretel says hello, and she's very excited to make an appearance this summer when we introduce her new brother! (Surprise haha!) We have some more travel videos coming out first, but once summer comes around, we'll give a little life update and show you not only our little pug again, but ALSO her newly adopted Frenchie brother! 🥰
Wow you've hit the doggie motherload ...a pug and a Frenchie. Two of the happiest cutest dogs ever. Yes her name is pug master. A couple of semi-pro surfer friends of mine kept saying that my pug was a master of body surfing and retrieving a small floating frisbee from lakes. So very quickly her name became Pugmaster. She even got into the LA Times feature. She is really good at soccer! One of her favorite pastimes is watching cartoons. Once you have a pug you're going to be a pug lover for life. They are instant happiness boosters 🐶 So thank you for including more of your doggies in our lives.
Loved the ruins. Loved the food. Loved seeing bits of city and people and local vendors. Hum...the balloon..not so much..too high..but glad you did it and enjoyed it. 😉
Hahaha I totally get that- lucky for us, we don't have a fear of heights! 🤣 What can we say? Mexico City had it all, so it was super fun to capture a little bit of everything! 😁 Thank you for watching! 💓
Guysss you are amazing, your videos helped me a lot with my Iceland trip, and now helping me to take my mom in a surprise trip to México! Sending love from CR❤
We have become huge fans of you both. Your videos are so delightful, wholesome and informative. Love it. Keep up the great work. Greetings from Ontario Canada.
Thank you so much! In Mexico City, we probably paid for 50% of things with cash and 50% with credit card. More and more shops and restaurants are accepting credit cards, but street vendors still only take cash. We would highly recommend that you always have cash handy, because sometimes, it's cheaper if you pay in cash rather than credit card. I also think most places prefer cash! 😁 Hope this helps!
Do yourself a favor, and stay in Villa Las Campanas in San Sebastián Xolalpa. You can walk to the ruins in the morning the next day! The little town is quiet, and charming. Afterwards you can eat at La Gruta which is a restaurant in an old cave right across from east side of ruins.
Mexico has a very controversial project in a high speed rail from mexico city to cancun, where all the rich tourists go... Along the super fast train are the Mayan ruins. Then there are tons of archaeology sites as well as the mayan ruins. Im just saying thhat would be fun to see you guys do the touristy things in cancun, and then go see the Mayans, and go see the archaeologists.... im just saying that might be fun
We've heard about that rail project (and we actually think we saw it getting built), and we've definitely heard that it's greatly controversial! We're actually skipping Cancun and the many glamorous resorts this time around and going straight to Merida, a great base for several different Mayan ruins in the Yucatan! 😁

Love your drone footage. What time did you capture it? As it looked like there was no one there, as it looked so nice seeing only the pyramids.

Chad and Claire Thank you for posting.

Great video! How is it with paying for things do they accept cards or tap to pay or cash? Do the street vendors take cash only?

@@ChadandClaire you’re welcome
Great editing. Good info. Keep the lady, she's smart.

Question, is the music on the globes always on? I feel like it takes away from the experience. Specially music in English.
Well done!
I see you guys never saw the Hot Air Balloon accident that happened in Mexico, It was brutal.
or the one in Arizona, New Mexico, etc.
I guess you never saw the car accidents that happen everywhere everyday. What’s your point?
