The cops have far better eyes then I do because with the exception of when he first went past the cop, I never saw the challenger again, me thinks them cops just like to speed.
Yep, It's absolutely ridiculous. Sure the guy in the Challenger is reckless but the cop is equally as reckless if not moreso blindly pushing 140+ for a car they surely know they aren't going to catch due to the crazy headstart. I wish I had a dashcam back then but in 2019 I had just bought my '16 MX-5 and wanted to see how fast it'd go 😂 I was responsible though and waited until 3:30 AM, all of a sudden an FHP officer was sitting in the median on the way back that wasn't there before but at that point I already had it wound up to 145 MPH and decided to keep my foot in it. That state boy must've been an older guy or asleep because he didn't move an inch as im assuming he knew it would've taken him minutes to catch up, if he even would've at all since he was stopped completely. These young cops need to chill out for sure.

This needs to be said more. I’ll be driving along and call out accidents before they happen just from paying attention to what’s going on. I love driving and I’m pretty good at it because when I get in the car to drive, I JUST DRIVE. I’m much more worried about the 16 yea old with a fresh license and their dads car with 3 friends then I am the guys that do this. Not to mention most cops can’t drive for shit.
I love when the cops drive into a pack of cars and keep chasing as if a car just came through at over 100 and these other drivers just casually merged back into place afterwards.
Your videos are great. Keep it up. I've been in retirement from out running the Pennsylvania clowns for years. Undefeated I am. May have to do it one more time just for a memory and laughs 😅😅😅
Honestly if traffic starts making mistakes it’s time to either just accept speeding as a non criminal act so the police themselves aren’t endangering the public by creating a scene, ( which at this point there is more of a risk to public safety than if they didn’t chase because of the fact that the charger got there first before the officers did making it to where it’s kinda like a bomb rush… unexpected and people wouldn’t be able to do much about it, whereas having the officers chase just creates a scene and a distraction for the other drivers potentially scaring them not to mention disturbing the “peace” ) and potentially killing themselves in the process because of the whole I saw this happen now I want to do it or the whole thing of seeing an officer take a highway corner at 100+ mph would also spark a fire in others making them want to do the same as well as seeing the charger more than likely do it faster than the officer did. I personally think this is all just a game of cat and mouse and the cat gets to do what it wants while the mouse is just being a mouse. Not much of a problem but the cat wants it bad enough that it’s willing to sacrifice the curtains and the glass vases around the house so to speak.
In Dallas they use alot more helicopters for pursuit and that keeps the speeding on the highway for safety. Yeah sport bikes tend to get away from helicopters but they are also are a less likely danger to other cars. Arkansas PD are speedfeaks themselves and a danger to the public as well.

police here dont chase over stupid shit. theyre supposed to turn off their emergency lights as soon as a vehicle runs to keep that person from driving more recklessly/aggressively. other states should follow this policy.
From a standstill to top speed, there really is NO chance to catch a driver that has an equal or greater top speed.. Hard enough if they are even 5 miles or so slower individually.. One of the countless times traveling between Houston and Dallas where like minded speeders often stack up and tag team, rotating positions to divy up the exposure to the police.. Had a group where the highest speed one of the other could maintain was 130 MPH, so we let that be the pace as not to leave him / them in the dust... I didn't have a bottle and had to take a leeeeek so bad I had to get out of the group and make the rotors grow for a I-45 pitstop right on the shoulder.. Then re-launching and running it up to 160 trying to real them all back in.. It took so long to real them back in I thought maybe they exited.. I couldn't have been stopped for even a minute.. The math is easy.. I actually found an online calculator by way of a race forum where you can put speeds, times and the rest, and if everything is equal and your speed is accurate, it gave you and ETA on how long until you close ethe gap and rejoin other vehicle(s).. Thought it was pretty cool... I just know from a dead stop to even EQAUL the previous pace.. Well, most guys know how long it takes to get up to a specific speed.. Oooops... Most racers..
