How to make poached eggs with this? There are no instructions in the manual

I will buy it but before that, please answer my questions.
1) After piercing the 6 eggs, from which side do you mount it on the tray?
2) Also what happens if you don't pierce them. Will they boil properly?
3) Are these boiled eggs safe to eat & if it doesn't boil it properly, we may be infected with Salmonella.
