- Thank you for stopping by and participating in this quick vintage lantern restoration. It will not be a ground up restoration but it will cover the basics.
I was gifted this lantern. Yesterday by a good friend of mine Norm.
It's always a privilege to be gifted a collectable like this and have the ability to get it back running again.
This vintage Coleman lantern. We'll take much. It looks like it's all here and it will just require the basic upheap. And clean up to get a running like the top again.
If at any time anybody has any questions or needed any help with something like this, feel free to hit me up. I'm always available in the evenings. Or weekends for help.
Steve it never gets old lighting up a Coleman lantern. God Bless
Great work on the lamp and video, Steve. 👍🏻😃🇺🇲
Thank you Joe I hope you had a great Monday
Nice score. Gotta love when they don't need much to make them awesome again
Thanks Chad , I agree 👍
Big hats are my favorite.
They are absolutely special I love the fact that you can unscrew the heat tubes some of the newer models do not allow that
I hope you're doing well CJ
Big hats are super cool
@@doinsngoins thanks for asking. I am over the hump but still fighting it.
Beautiful lantern Steve ! That vent looks cherry! Awesome job on bringing that ole baby back to life ! Have a good week my friend
Thank you Scott not too bad a few little things but nothing worth crying about the label is pretty bad I might order another one
You do the same Scott have a good one my friend
Beautiful lamp Steve. You are the lamp specialist.
Thanks DAZ, your too kind, I hope you had a good day
Nice big hat. And even better you got it going. Woo hoo!!
Thank you I appreciate it
I hope you have a good week one day is down four more to go
I have 15 lanterns sitting just a few feet from my desk. Only two of them are the big hats.
The big hats are really eye catchers.
tHanks for the video.
They really are eye catchers I like them a lot and they actually don't come around nearly as often as the other 200 series lanterns
Thank you for sharing I appreciate it and I hope you have a good week
Nice one, Steve 👍
I appreciate it !
Good Evening Steve ! It's a NICE 1. TAKE CARE..
Thanks BB ! One more Monday Gone !
@@doinsngoins Yep & Boy we got the snow today. It melted off most of the roads anyway. TAKE CARE..

@@doinsngoins We're supposed to get kinda hammered this week. We'll see. TAKE CARE..
You’ve been on a roll lately.
Sweet. 🤘
Not too bad for the dead of winter Dean I hope you're doing well this week
Great video with some good information on what to do and not do. Haven't heard the word "cherry" used in a long time, except for my self. We used to use that term in the 70s. Now people look at me funny if I use it.😂👍🏻 That turned out to be a nice looking lantern.
That's funny Mike I use that term daily I also use the term rad call too often my daughter's think I use it because the kids are using it today but I've never stopped using it since the 80s thank you for the support Mike I hope you have a good week
@@doinsngoins Rad, forgot about that one. That's Epic! You're welcome, have a gnarly week!😂😂👍🏻🤙🏻
that lantern is fantastic. i wish i have a check valve tool, on my tool want list for sure. thanks for sharing
My check valve tool is made by a guy named Ron who sells them on eBay and they are very good quality I want to say they were 85 bucks at the time
That's before shipping now and it's been a while
Hey Ray you should Google the guy on TH-cam that makes the check valve tool with no welding or machine shop
It's impressive
@@doinsngoins ill look into him, i may try and make one myself
Good job
Thank you, I hope you have a good day.
that is awesome bud
Thank you James I hope you have a good week okay buddy
Very timely video. I bought ‘72 model 220F yesterday. It’s in nice condition but the pump leather is dry. Got it soaking in neatsfoot oil as we speak.
Let me know if I can help in any way okay
The happiness in your thumbnail has me clicking before .....going to work.
Ehh, work ...work never got anyone anywhere....but lanterns on the other hand!
Oh don't get me started about work I have to get up early and I'm at my desk usually and it's dark still but my happy place is hanging out with you guys and pedaling around with these lanterns and stoves
Thank you for your support I really appreciate it
🔥👍🏻😎🧀

During January’s videos I saw 3 200A’s.
Was there more?
Did you see the NIB Burg for 250$$$$
