Last time I saw something so crazy I had a Fever.
The Sky/Dream game was meh. The Liberty/Mystics game was kinda sad. The Lynx/Sun game was actually kinda fun, especially in the last 3 minutes. But the general energy of play was nowhere near what the Fever bring (or Wings, for that matter). It just felt so slow and boring.
Also, all of them were very noticeably _quiet._ Every Fever game has the crowd really making noise, but for all of these games I kept having to check whether there was actually anyone in the seats. I could hear the shoe squeaks and the basketball bounces, and the tinny echo of the music being played. It felt like a practice session, or a high school game. I have to think that this was what the WNBA was like before CC.
Only 2 out of the 6 teams broke 80 points. With the Fever, it feels like they're having a pretty sucky game if they don't break 90, and they're doing outright terrible if they don't break 80.
Correct analysis. Let's watch the viewer count tumble when the Fever are eliminated from the Playoffs.

If the Mystics beat the Fever on Thursday and both Sky and Dream lose, the Mystics will be tied with the Dream. The head to head series is tied 2-2. By point differential, the Mystics are in. That’s the second most likely scenario. The most likely one is that all three teams lose and the Dream are in.
And if the Mystics lose and the Dream lose...which is very possible...and SKY win vs. Connecticut ...SKY can still get in.

This was two teams that were vying for a playoff spot. This was the game of the week. This game was being played to determine who was going to potentially take the eighth spot in the playoffs and Chicago didn’t show up. The game Thursday between the fever and Washington could be for that eighth spot as well, but there would be a tie between two teams if it ended like the standings are right now.. having said that, I noticed there was games Thursday, I thought today was the last last game for Chicago and Atlanta. Chicago can summit it up to beat CON and Atlanta loses to the liberty, which is a possibility we could be back in a tie again that is, of course if the fever beat Washington. this is interesting. Kind of a different aspect to the WNBA at the end of the season.

Chicago was the worst landing spot for Brianna Turner. She's a defensive player. She's made two all-WNBA defensive teams. She can still contribute, but Chicago developed their rookies over playing her. I think she could be a really good player for Indiana IMO. High energy 4. It's a testament to how weak this league is and how poor the playoff system is. A team that is 14-26 and makes the playoffs is nonsense. They should have a top 4 playoff system for a 12-team league. Why have eight teams playing and only four missing out? If there were a second lower league, weaker WNBA teams could be relegated and better lower league teams could be promoted. This would give teams incentive to improve and play hard each game. It's the way English soccer is set up.

Look at the positive: They can get players to come there because of Reese, who is well liked around the league. Collier invited Reese to work out with her while in Miami in Unrivalled, among others.
They’ll have a lottery pick and another first round pick next year. Two more first round picks the year after. The quality of players coming out from college now is unmatched and will continue because of the growth of the women’s game. This is the first year of their rebuild. Next year they’ll be much better.
