I regret the Brexit decision by the UK on many levels. Thanks to groups such as these guys, I can at least feel a little closer to the wonderful music coming out of mainland Europe.

Wow, terrific. Another demonstration of the excellent jazz being played on mainland Europe. I am assuming that it is Europe, please excuse my geography. Are the drummer Julie Saury and Abril Saury from the Joan Chamoro group sisters? Whatever, both excellent players.

Julie Saury is French, she is the daughter of clarinet player Maxim Saury, and brought in Jazz. She is generally playing in a rather modern style, as in this number, but never forgets the role of the drummer, and is capable to play in various styles , as with Cinthia Sayer, or as a big band drummer in Laurent Mignard "Duke Orchestra".
