That was a very interesting video, didn’t know any of that especially the not watering In November. Jermey will be so proud of you for this video 👍👍 have a good day❤️❤️❤️
Aloha Linda! I figured I’d make a video since I had a bunch of keikis to pot up and Jeremy needed a break, he’s been working hard lately 🤣 I was hoping to explain everything in a way that people could understand me 😂 This was how I was taught by someone who’s been growing honohonos for over 30 years. One of his honohonos took best in show years ago. I’m hoping one day I can grow mine as good as his 💚 Mahalo for watching 🤣
💜 absolutely beautiful 💌🌺

Hi Kelly. Everything you've explained with regard to placement of the keikis makes so much sense. I also couldn't tell you how many failures I've had because I twisted the keikis off prematurely. I once bought a bunch of keikis off Facebook M.P. and they've all failed except one, which is on it's last legs after nursing it for about 9 months. So disappointing! The brush attachment for your drill is a great idea, I did all my pots by hand, it took so long, I tended to let them pile up. Not helpful! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas, very much appreciated.
@@renatecormick7399 Aloha Renate! Someone who’s been growing honohonos for over 30 years taught me how to pot them up . One of his orchids even took best in show several years ago. But he would twist his keikis off, not leave them on the cane. I too lost a lot of keikis that way so I’m hoping this method is more successful. And yes the brush attachment is much easier and faster than scrubbing by hand. My motto is work smarter not harder 😂 Mahalo for watching 🤙🏼
