ALDI K-fee system Expressi coffee machine demo

Today ALDI start selling the K-cafe Expressi coffee machine. As long as I think Nespresso machine is pretty pricey for me, I choose this one which only cost $79!! The milk frother is $20. Coffee capsule $5.99 for 16 shots. For total cost under $110, no complaint at all.
This video is for someone who are interested to buy one of this and worrying about the quality.

Newer version of pods have exploded and blown the nozzle off the front of the machine. Now place a towel over nozzle when coffee is pouring so as to avoid the risk of scalding. Have made distributer aware of problem, they kindly replaced pods. But pods bought recently still explode though nozzle has not (again) blown off (yet).

I bought the hot choc 'map' pods from officeworks, fits the expressi beautifully. Combined with a veletta pod in a mug makes a fantastic mochachino!

She didn't flush the system, not that would have made much difference but it would have heated the cup. Also much of the coffee in the capsule would have been wasted. The coffee in the cup would be going cold while she made the froth. Maybe the froth may warmed it up again, but I don't know that it would.

I am drinking a Florenzi Lungo, the strength is 3. this is only my third cup of coffee ever, but i might try a 4 soon. my dad decided to put it in the pantry under a shelf, so i have to drag it out a bit so the lever can go all the way up. annoying, but other than that, easy to use.

I bought three units yesterday (no probs there). one for the house, daughter and the other to flog on eBay for people who cant get to an Aldi store...
Footnote: hate cuppucino etc, I only drink black Nestles' instant lol.

I bought and my wife grabbed some of the duo pods won't bother with them again a they taste like UHF milk I'm a goat milk fan milking 3 everyday, nut fresh cows would have equally as good, like with anything I imagine you have to try the different coffees I can't drink instant coffee because of acid reflux. But using the conventional coffee machine with only one arm is virtually impossible.

Can i reuse a capsule that is inside the machine and already used once? Because i would like a big mug of coffee, so can i just press the big cup twice? Perhaps even... thrice?

No, it will taste disgusting. Use two pods and the big cup button with some preheated hot milk.
