I remember when I was in kindergarden, and I would play this game with my older sister. It would be the only time we would ever connect or bond together. I would watch her play all day, offering silly commentary and joking about the funny-looking sprites. I was there with her when she raised her cows and got G milk, and when she won the homeland. I miss you, Katelyn. I love you. :( This is when a game is truly great- not by its graphics, but when it makes people genuinely happy.
you made this comment 6 years ago but damn, i can relate so much :"") my brother used to play harvest moon every weekend and i watched him play for months, or even years. sometimes i begged to play too but i was a dumb 4 year old so he gave me a controller that's not connected to the console, and i thought i was playing xD that's probably the best memory i've ever had of my childhood with him. aaaahh wish we could just turn back time :(

We used to switch turns and all, and with little knowledge of english, we had to use dictionary and translated words. Fun time. Then often dropped by the stable, and to the lake. No idea what’s the purpose of playing but it was a great time. Honestly, miss those times now. Too nostalgic now haha.

My sister and I would play games on the ps2 alllll day, greatest moments of my life and I would give everything to go back for a couple minutes. i know its too late, but there are 3 demo in the video. 1. about crops / farming 2. about Animal / Ranch 3. About Villagers. those 3 point are key to finish the all the ending.

@itachi000797 My favorite harvest moon is by far A Wonderful Life. I actually enjoyed the characters and it was a little sad at times. And seeing those characters age and even die really attached me to the people. I havent played this one but I'll probably try it once i get a little money

Just recently downloaded this on PSN. I was in love with it until right in the first week of summer, I beat the game....just like that. Turns out farming really has no importance in this one because all you actually have to do is befriend someone and their plot will unfold regardless. It's actually such an empty game ._.
