beautiful horses and surely testament to your professional skills, care and experience that these horses were from Belgium and brought to you for training. Well done.
Those kind of cold-blooded horses are naturally quiet and will give you no bother whatever you ask of them. Good horses to own : ) (unless you are a racer!)
Alone at home I use a mounting block, fence, rock, whatever. Horse knows to stay still by block. I can partially mount as well. The saddle stays straight or more so. What ever happened to PARK? An active stand still move, really helps lower the back of those tall horses. You guys are the best on TH-cam. If you ever come to the USA....not likly...but???
Hello. I am a trainee at "Syndicat Hippique du Boulonnais" in France. My job is to recens boulonnais horses that stay abroad. We try to find a genetical source of boulonnais horses. So, in which country stay Tess and Caly ? Have they foals ? And where were they imported ? Thank you
I think fletcher is a tad to tall for that stirrup length 😂 he looks a bit gangly in that saddle lol Btw what type of saddle is that I'd love to get one look nice and secure for riding greenies 😊
S. Lawrence I think it's a Trekker True Talent - or similar. Almost certainly a Trekker. They are brilliant saddles that prevent soreness on the horse's back and are fully adjustable to fit almost every horse. (I'm not an agent, BTW.)
very nice for a couple of 'plods' you can drive a train through thats guys knees, and how about putting up a video of you breaking in a thoroughbred type horse something with a bit of hot blood, now that will impress youtubers
amish hats Thanks for your comment; the latest video up is of a sharp Hackney pony - there are plenty of "hot blooded" horses on our channel including a Thoroughbred. It all depends what horses our clients own and what we have in for training as to what videos we make and put up!
"Heads up! Heels down!" riders. Two paddlers, one right-footed (chestnut), and one left-footed (grey). Two pints at the pub? Is that "Drinking and ...??" Probably a "0.04."
We believe a horse should work at whatever pace is required, whenever it is required. Sometimes you might have to trot home and it is best if the horse is perfectly happy to do that under control. Although of course, cooling a horse down after exercise is also important, if that is the context your comment is meant in.

Good job, I like the saddles similar to the half breeds we use here in oz.

S. Lawrence he looked fine, the mares are at least 16 hands.
I wasn't referring to weather he looked to big for the mares
I was referring to the stirrups looking to short for him

+S. Lawrence Maybe if he rode with his heels down instead of up, eh?

You should never ever trot a horse on the way home always stick to a walk

If you are fifteen miles from home it would be a very long walk.
