For all of you asking how did we get Y outputs: this is actually just an output of any function Y, Y can be whatever function you want. The problem here actually says: find me the function Y, which has such outputs for such inputs. So if function accepts 3 specific inputs, and returns false,then use POS, if true => use SOP
@@israelamanor9127you can apply any rule, you can apply OR operatipn , AND operation or any random operation like A+BC' or A'+BC or A+B'C' etc... depending on your requirements in circuit.
Earlier I thought, that there isn't any good indian channel about computer science , and followed many foreigners.... Now I realise that the gold was within my own country and was searching outside of it 👌.. I didn't expect , really . I am not an engineering student right now , I'm in High school
Does using the distributive law for the minimal pos or the minimal sop form will yield the other? The minimal sop form of the example is A'C' + B and if we use distributive, it will be (B+A')(B+C') which is the minimal pos form. Is my assumption true or is it just a coincidence in this example?
The number of rows will be 2 (raised to the power of) number-of-variables (ABC)=3. So 8 rows total. The right column (C) will always comprise of 010101... The middle row (B) will be 00110011.... The left column A will be 00001111... If there is a 4th one.. Then it will be eight Zeros and then 8 ones...

How do you find Y? I don't get when the result if 1 or 0.
These are random values
Y must be given in order to complete the problems
Bruh Y is based on Minterm Values

No yeah you're right, yours is the absolute minimal, but in sop form cuz of the additions. His way using the paranthesis is the sop form.
That's awesome )
By the way, do you have any video tutorial that teaches how to create a trust table just from seeing F function?

Y= A'C' + A'BC + AB
Y=A'C' + B (A+A'C)
Y=A'C + B(A+C)
Y=A'C + BA + BC

what are the types of questions for these examples and how to know whether to use the SOP or POS to solve them?

How can I make this truth table??I am confused in this....plsss reply and help
the truth table is a given, e.g. by the teacher
Late reply...
No. The table ie, if 2 variable then no. Of combination is 2^2=4.
2^1 2^0(like place value )
A B
0(start) 0 0
As the first combination is 0 then we
Have to add the values of A&B to get the out put as 0. Is only possible when both the values are 0(A) 0(B)
A B
0 + 0 = 0
In second combination is 1 it can be
Achieved by
A is like the 2 digit ( tenth place in normal number system) in binary only 1& 0 is possible therefore
A( 2^1) B(2^0- ones place)
So the second coloumn sum is 1 so we put
A B
0 1
2^1*0=0 + 2^0*1=1
Similarly for 3rd =2
A B
1 0
2^1*1 + 2^0* 0 =2
4th= 3
A B
1 1
2^1*1=2 + 2^0*1=1 =2+1=3
I hope you could understand
Value of y (random) :edit

i search how to solve the a + a'b everywhere and i found in here, thx u so much

thank you soo much sir,your videos helped me alot :)
Thank you.
Thanks Neso academy

so tricky to me but a great explanation.
thank you sir
sir, will you tell us which one is most simplified expression between sop and pos ?
is any rule about the values of the function or you take random values?
for the boolean algebra you just solved.
i am trying it some other way and not able to get the same answer .
my steps are:
Y= A'BC' + AB'C' + AB'C + ABC' + ABC
Y= A'C'(B+B') + AB'C + AB(C' +C)
Y= A'C' + AB'C + AB
Y= A'C' +A( B'C +B)
Y= A'C' + A(B+C)
Y= A'C' +AB + AC
WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?
Sir, how did you use distributive la in last steps of minimal POS form?
Thanks a lot
If there's don't care given in the question ,should we consider it ?( For the first question which u have solved)
now it is going to touch 420K mark
