That’s us played every team in the league once at home now. W10 D1 L0 GF 34 GA 2 10 clean sheets with an average of 3 goals per game. Any gripes about boredom or “sideways passing” etc…. Are being directed at the wrong people. There is an underlying problem with Scottish football. 10 of the clubs we face have a fraction of our budget and so they all basically set up the same way to try and frustrate us and we in turn have to try and break them down. That’s it. That’s how 90% of our home games are going to go. As far as I can see, Celtic are trying to play attacking football but it takes two teams to make a good game. It’s not Jim Goodwin’s job to provide entertainment for Celtic fans, it’s his job to get the best results possible for Dundee Utd. So what you end up with quite a lot is Celtic passing it around trying to find gaps in a well organised defensive set up. The better organised the opponents, the more tedious it can become.
I think sometimes Maeda should be playing up front with Kyogo. Last night I would have put Palma on the wing and Kyogo and Maeda up front. Maeda is a great striker and just like Kyogo finds great spaces and makes great runs.
Maybe not a bad thing not going in to the Young Boys game over confident. I’m sure we will be up for it and raise our game. 🤞 Look after Kuhn, we are 16/13 ahead, we can afford to rest him.
Of course Hamish has a laugh at Stevie for missing a match played in minus 7 degrees. Meanwhile Hamish is in shorts and t-shirt basking in the warmth of a 31 degree day.

We lacked penetration up front and allowed United back into it. Maeda refused to take on his man because he doesn't allow himself enough space to run into. Neither striker runs with the ball. I think the assist bonus is higher than the goal bonus because we're trying to pass it into the net sometimes. Goodwin though. I thought it would be a tough game
We actually haven't got 1 player apart from a slowing Forrest who can actually beat a man from a standing position , it's all about this one two stuff and move which is difficult against big athletic determined pros , Saturday against Ross county is going to be very hard , a very big , athletic and determined team coupled with a small park and supposedly windy conditions in dingwall ,get out of that with everyone fit and 3 points will be a good job in the middle of these 9 fixtures in the worst month of the year weatherwise, what bright spark designed this, SFA I wonder

I made a point of watching Yang, in first half he looked lively and could beat man would run back and win ball back if he lost it and worked hard, but, there's no end product, never looks like setting up a goal never mind scoring one. As for Palma, first thing he did was run the ball out of play, but after that he had 3 good bits of play, nice ball through for Hatate, cross with the outside of the foot that lead to the goal and a excellent shot right at the end. Both players have something in them but unfortunately its not working for them at Celtic. The best for both of them and Celtic would be to move on. 🍀

Yang definately has some decent skills on the ball and looks stronger this year but he is never a winger and as others have said has no end product.. Strikes me as a player who would be better in another position. I genuinely think he'd be better in the middle of the park but not at this club

The number of times he clears from corners is incredible.Not that I'm a fan of this I think he should remain up top to hit teams on the break. That's when he is at his most lethal.

There's always tickets available at the Stadium (except when playing Rangers). Lots of people standing around holding up tickets for sale. There was a guy last night holding up 4. Still though - some kind of ticket exchange is definitely needed.
