So I’ve read that the lowest recommended lumens is 1500 which is the light pole that I have. What does everyone else use? I live over by Jacksonville Florida. Little bit darker water but I make trips to the gulf coast where the water is clear. Any advice would be great. I usually wade when I gig.
I put a set of led lights on my flounder punt it lights up Lights up the hole bay, I don't have to carry a flounder light on the other hand it works alsom
once it is tighten up that bolt doesnt move. i ended up ziptie it to a Clamp it worked good. it stayed in place and if we hit bottom it could flex. i only used it once. i will do a update video.
I used these same lights for gigging and got water immersion on the first outing. I am thinking if I had used some 5900 sealant around the lens, the water would have not gotten in. Currently making another set out of a 100 watt adjustable LED chip light that produces 8000 lumens if adjusted all the way up using a step up booster module that you can adjust the voltage, it is extremely bright! Have you seen any doormat's lately?
i haven been but twice this year once in may and then in june and it rain hard the day before we went in june the water was muddier than normal. i dont if my lights even work anymore.
I put 6 of those 6inch lights together. Wired everything up , only thing is, when i connect them. They are bright and they go dim after 2 min. On a fully charged car battery. Anyone know why this is happening?
no idea. i used them 3 or 4 times and never used them again. they sat in the shed for months. my son asked if he could have them for is truck. only one worked.

How'd the head on the pole go in use? Did it stay nice n firmly in position. With one bolt I imagine it would move around

I got a kick out of hearing about your solder getting run over by an ashphalt roller

If you got water in the light than it was probably rated of IP67 or Ip66. You need an IP68 rating for it to be waterproof
Big88Country how is that made!?
