I been a fan since the day I heard Kanye, and it wasn't hard because I lived 5 blocks away from him when he was still in Chicago. My dad cut his hair, at our house, I even got to chill with him. People talk cuz they see a public image but the guy is so great though, and down to earth. But whatever, I'm not big in the world...yet. But even if I was, people would hate, just to hate.

There are almost no people who hear the language he speaks. and there are no translators. and they think he's talking nonsense. For me, there is a holy trinity of albums that are really pioneering some kind of strange and unstructered sound that one day will become proeminent in pop culture: Lulu by Lou Reed and Metallica, Blackstar (the last Bowie album) and Yeezus by Kanye West. These three records are visionary-sounding and they completely push the envelope of today's inert and complacent structured songs that are still hungover from the past.

Even though his arrogance makes him seem stupid, he's doing great things. He's pretty much a pioneer in the sense that he's pushing boundaries in everything. He's revolutionizing pop culture. I'm just saying, he's doing what no artists are doing right now. Rappers now a days just make songs for the radio and to get hits. Kanye is pushing the boundaries sonically. His Yeezus album may get a lot of hate, but in the next few years rappers are gonna start copying his sound. I can also understand why he wants to get into the fashion industry. He doesn't want to be labeled as just a rapper. He's proven that he can play a big role in fashion with the release of his Yeezy's. He's trying to do something big. He wants to be the owner of a billion company. He's rich, but not wealthy. And kanye wants to be wealthy in order to further spread his influence. Kanye is smart and he knows what he wants, but he's just misunderstood. I guess his communication skills rub off on people the wrong way.
