Shiny new blankets for the Momotaro family! The gorillas are very happy.
It's a new year, and I noticed that the blankets provided for the gorillas are new. It appears to be brand new.
It seems to feel good against their skin. Immediately, the male gorillas were dragging the blankets and sitting on them.

MOMOTARO & GENKI Family ( Momotaro Fam)
Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAC.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

Momotaro will appreciate the blankets in the cold weather. It's good to see Genki enjoying her food again. Her teeth must feel better now that they were taken care of, and the abscess healed.

It's so great to see that Genki has such a good appetite. She's feeling so much better these days. All of the guys seem to like the new blankets. It amazes me how Momotaro lays is just right so he can rest on it. I heard Momotaro making a chirping sound the other day from an old video and I loved it. Thank you GL for all you do. That’s what I noticed. This giant muscle-bound guy daintily picking up the corners of the blanket and putting it exactly where he wants it before he squats down to have his snack. Love them all from the U.S.

0:42 Great view! We can get an idea of how high the gorillas climbed. Amazing - What arm strength they must have! Would appreciate seeing more views from this angle. I'm guessing it's about 35 feet (10.6 meters), what is the height of the gorilla house? The Momotaro Family are fortunate as they are the only gorillas in Japan which have this opportunity. Would really appreciate seeing more from this angle. 🦍🦍

スズメは数が減っていますよ。巣が減ってるんです。スズメは竹やぶとか、民家の屋根裏に巣をつくります。どちらも日本では減っていますからね。特に今の住宅は隙間がないので巣を作れません。野生のスズメの寿命は数年です。

I saw a video recently of the sounds this group makes. Kintaro was screaming alot. It seems he was the one making all the noise. Is it like this every time you video them, with the little one making a lot of noise? Thanks for your reply.
