Oh, really? SAs in Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich all explicitly told me in Germany that there’s no prespend needed, but that you must be a resident. But I also feel like the prespend helps in your favor 😅 I made my customer account in Germany, I think they check your registered address under your account? I’m not 100% sure on how they confirm it if a tourist were to make an account and use a fake address, but with having to go to the boutique to make the account, and again in a few weeks/months for the wish list appointment and again in a year for the bag, I feel like it might be difficult to fake

My feet are so sensitive lol but I’ve been thinking about a pair of Hermes boots too! The boots are very comfortable but I’ll definitely update when it’s cooler weather and I actually wear them out! For now I can say that it seems that there is absolutely no way they could cause my feet to blister, the entire shoe is so soft due to the knit material ☺️ It’s so annoying, the app I use stops recording every 10 minutes but it doesn’t make any noise or indication of that so if I don’t look at the screen I have no idea that it stopped 🫣
Love the retourne Kelly as you know! I had the choice between sellier and retourne Kelly 25 as well and easily chose the retourne. Love the more casual look and I’m also not a fan of the epsom leather so sellier was not on my radar. Here’s to hoping your wish comes to fruition sooner rather than later!
Exact same thoughts about the stitching and your opinion of Epsom is spot on. I’m ok with my Constance being Epsom but would never consider it for a B/K! I can see the appeal of it being hardy but for me it doesn’t showcase the quality of leathers Hermes uses because of how coated it is.

The sellier was so stiff when I was trying the sample bags I struggled to open the bag 😅 it is very beautiful but a softer leather and silhouette is definitely where my heart is 💓 I’m so excited for my retourne!

Getting a quota bag at Hermes in Germany is different from US. I definitely like the system in Germany better.
I tried in Japan a few times, only got offered a roulis, garden party and a very visually unappealing HAC birkin which I had to decline 😅🫣
