- Dupont State Forrest, located in Western North Carolina, is home to some magnificent waterfalls, some of these waterfalls have been filming locations for some of Hollywood's blockbuster movies join us as we visit Bridal Veil Falls which has been featured in both The Last of the Mohicans and The Hunger Games.

Shame about the late start but at least you got parked and you got an awesome day too. Looked a great trail to follow and a very elegant bridge twirl too. Real pleased the State won in the battle with the developer and what a great 2 mile hike to the base of the falls, with the rock there looking so smooth, you could almost slide down them. I well remember the film the Last of the Mohicans but did not know it was filmed there but so spectacular. Brilliant that you could get behind the waterfall and a cave too - awesome but very wet lol. Bridal Veil Falls in North Carolina is absolute magic! The sight of the water cascading down the rock is truly mesmerizing.

@@ms.kayak7seas I’ve lived in NC all my 40+ years. I love looking at videos of others enjoying nature like this, but my only hiking is no more than 3 miles in the local park. I’ll live my hiking adventures through videos of you you and Mr Tranquilo. 🥰🥰🥰

It is very nice to walk in the forest with the sunlight filtering through the trees or on the rocky ground. The rocks are smooth and slippery when wet. I am always impressed with the physical ability of your wife who rotate the body behind the waterfall. I always expect a rotate the body on the bridge 🤩🤣❣

Amazing experience! Bridal Veil Falls is such a picturesque destination. Breathtaking natural beauty. It's a perfect spot for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. I like that you can go behind the falls. Plenty of recreational activities. Pretty butterfly.

The view from the bridge is amazing 5:21 long walk 2miles to the base of waterfall so beautiful relaxing to watched nice walk on the rock, at the end you walk under the rock not a cave like i see in the movie! full view and like #307, hope you have a great day ahead much love.
