Sorry man, but you did this totally wrong. First, you are supposed to hammer on the lip that is halfway down. Second you are supposed to get this into the ground down to where the lip you were supposed to be hammering is at level with the ground. You have it way too high out of the ground and it will barely do anything to support the fence as is. And then you spray painted so sloppy and got it all over the fence too? Come on man
Yes I would love to have went deeper, but the depth of ground penetration will vary based on how high concrete (if any) comes up. I went as far down as possible. The over spray on the fence comes off with a pressure washer, or could be sanded off. Good points!
It’s a trick of nomenclature. The steel is called stain-less because it’s way *less* likely to “stain” (rust) but is not “stain proof”. I learned this the hard way with knives. 😂

I got stopped by concrete. Should I have wedged this to the post first, then hammered down on the lip, or would I still be stopped by the concrete?
