Steve Madewell Everybody’s Favorite

This is a simple tribute to John Prine. I can’t begin to imagine the number of times I played his songs. One of the great honors of my musical endeavors was to open a show for him at the Victory Theater in Dayton in the early 80’s. We briefly chatted as I was finishing and before his sound check. He was exactly the same as his songs, in the moment, humble, insightful, and humorous.
