The fact it's always just dead silent with no background music whatsoever is sending me, this game feels like it takes place in purgatory.
I watched some of this stream, then fell asleep while watching it, and when I woke up, horrible things were happening and I was momentarily very confused.

It feels so weirdly empty, I think it gives it a tension that makes it feel like it’s about to become a horror game at any second
the idea for this game is really cute but something about the actual game is just SO deeply unsettling it feels like a haunted game creepypasta of peppa pig or something, and i keep expecting daddy pig to suddenly start talking in a distorted demon voice
If you've seen The Haunting of Bly Manor, Peppa is voiced by the girl who plays Flora. So, that could be a contributing factor.
Ok but imagine being a tiny child and playing this, imagine all the storytelling it has, it’s like a little story randomizer, I bet I would’ve been happy to be 4 and imagine I am Peppa’s friend, the point of game is imaginative play, than I guess there’s no way loosing.
why does everyone keep calling daddy pig fat when he literally has the exact same body type as every single other adult male on the show 😭

Watching this is wild because whenever Peppa talks I just hear her actress as the role she played in the haunting of bly manor and I'm like "ah yes haunted Peppa pig"
Peppa is voiced by Amelie Bea Smith, the actress who plays Flora in the Haunting of Bly Manor. All I can think of when Peppa talks is of Flora saying "Perfectly splendid!" and the moment where she sits up and glares at Dani for accidentally kicking one of her dolls.
if you’re wondering, the main rule of sentience/anthropomorphism in peppa pig is “land mammal” (so not whales/dolphins). The ONLY exception is ONE character: Mrs Crocodile. Other than that, the rule still stands. Mice, moles, giraffes, goats, (humans too!) all count whereas chickens, penguins, tortoises, lizards, and fish do not.
(I may enjoy and know a lot about Peppa Pig lore 😌)

When I started watching this I was like 'oh hahah this will be funny' but 23 minutes in and I'm very unsettled

This is actually a super cute game for little kids! Definitely reccomending it to some of my nieces and nephews.

watching simsie go insane for two hours was really fun, there were several times i thought she was gonna give in and curse LOL
i played a lot of computer games as a child and can confirm i would have hated this nightmare and never played it again. i had dope my little pony, clifford the big red dog, blue's clues and pajama sam CD games and they were so fun, had story arcs, had jokes, music, characters unique to the the world, puzzles, decorating minigames, all sorts of stuff. there's so many cool things you can make in a children's game that are accessible to the child regardless of their reading level, educational, fun, and feature characters they love - or introduce new ones that you love from playing a great game. i think this game is what a developer of pajama sam or jumpstart etc would have to play in hell. this game is a fever dream and it's always so aggravating when games and shows for children treat them like morons. i would love to play pajama sam right now dude! but if i was a kid and had this game i would put it down and go do literally anything else lol

I was excited for this, then realised I have a 6 year old who watched peppa pig on repeat until about a year ago and I hated her then. Loved the stream though, the games just as creepy as the TV show
Say that about Max and Ruby I grew up watching them and they're definitely better than Peppa pig

This is truly something
It’s so frustrating how everything bad about this game could’ve been avoided by a simple mission system.
Like, instead of triggering cutscenes constantly and being able to completely skip over tasks, just have the player traverse a linear mission pathway like every other videogame on the planet. This is a game for toddlers why did they think a non-linear story path was a good idea?!?!?!
