- Join me for a Fossiliferous unboxing - I've 4 boxes to open up full of fossils i've collected from the Yorkshire coast including one box containing a very special fossil at the end of the video.
I've also had to make some room in my collection so you can find some wonderful jurassic fossils on the Fossiliferous webshop
Every purchase helps support the channel!
fossiliferous....
what a result...
this nautilus looks like marble, beautiful.
congratulations 👌
Thanks. They are amazing fossils
Omg! The Lincolnshire Nautilus is absolutely stunning m8....but i know this might be a tad controversial but I just love that Yorkshire Liparoceras 😱.
Some absolutely stunning fossils Matt 😮⚒️🌊
That Nautilus is really something else! Congratulations!
Holy Moley that Nautilus 😍
Just as i thought a scunny nautilus,.like hens teeth.....find another like that!!!!! you will have to go some to find a better one, some other nice finds in the 2 unboxing videos but for me none on this level, well done mate👍👍⚒️⚒️😁
I very much doubt I will find another given how rare these are
The preservation of the second and third ones reminded me a lot of the classic Frodingham Ironstone specimens. Very nice. The Liparoceras is great too, looks more like one of the Dorset or Gloucestershire ones indeed, rather than from Yorkshire. Fantastic find and prepped so well. I've had some nice stuff from Stone Treasures.
Thanks.
You have some of the most beautiful finds I've seen thus far! That first box you've opened had some spectacular specimens.
Thank you kindly
I've seen some spectacular fossils this year already, but that Nautilus was really something else! Who did the prep?
Thanks Andrew - this was Mark Hawkes of Stone Treasures in Edwinstowe
Stunning fossils Matt.
Thanks
How are these fossils cleaned up? What the technique?
Mainly pneumatic tools
Words cannot explain the jealousy I feel of the Naut.
How's your burton one doing?
The hat Lipo is stunning!!
Thanks!
Can I just ask my friend, do you need to give Yorkshire ammonites a few water baths to remove salt? I’ve heard coastal fossils have a lot of sea salt that can corrode a fossil.
No need to soak yorkshire ammonites but I usually wash them when I get home to take off the salt and any other debris
@@fossiliferous thank you again for your knowledge and expertise!
Wow! That nautilus is insane! Lovely ammonites as well. 👍👌
It's my new best fossil!
@@fossiliferous totally understandable. :) It's a beauty!
Some very nice ammos, the liparoceras is especially stunning.
Tunstall turned out to be a good day out.
It was an amazing day!
Oh, i forgot to mention that naut too, wow! The find if a lifetime.
Indeed. - Will have to be a really special find to top it
