Hello. My Mother has been filing for me since last year May. So just last month we were told to submit the last documents (Police Clearance, Tax, affidavit etc) and just a couple of days ago we were told that the police clearance paper wasn't laid properly and according to your video it's 2 months or more before the NVC set up an interview for one. So my question is are they going to start counting back from day 1 just because we didn't lay the police clearance properly..?? Please answer me I'm very desperate.. This whole process is really exhausting and frustrating
Hello and thanks for your question. If you submit the correct police certificate, NVC will continue with the process i don't think they will start from day 1.

Salut, si NVC a accepte tous les documents et que la personne qui a petitione est un citoyen americain, ca peut prendrre au moin 2 a 4 mois avant de recevoir la lettre d'interview. Ca depend aussi du type de visa ( CR1, F2A ect....) Merci

Hello, as a U.S citizen you must file an I-130 petition for all your relatives you are petitioning. Only green card holder can put kids on their parent application as derivative. Thanks

But I have gotten a no criminal certificate from my country of birth. So Can I go to the interview without the Chinese certificate ?

After USCIS approval 4-6 weeks case to received by NVC 3 weeks to send email or case registration with nvc then they will ask you to submit documents PCC AOS etc 4-8 weeks reviewing your documents after that 1 week to send you email that documents are approved or documentarily qualified After DQ letter 60 to 90 days to schedule your interview at BMB ( Bombay embassy) P.S : Bombay consulate is the busiest of all so have patience sometime take 4-6 months people are waiting since April for CR1 cases My case is also IR/ CR1 Waiting for the interview date since oct 4th so don’t worry about it just chelax

Hello, on the document is reviewed and accepted, the status will change to ACCEPT. You can even wait more than 3 weeks because it's will depend on how bus NVC is.

4-6 weeks case to received by NVC
3 weeks to send email or case registration with nvc then they will ask you to submit documents PCC AOS etc
4-8 weeks reviewing your documents after that
1 week to send you email that documents are approved or documentarily qualified
After DQ letter
60 to 90 days to schedule your interview at BMB ( Bombay embassy)
P.S : Bombay consulate is the busiest of all so have patience sometime take 4-6 months people are waiting since April for CR1 cases
My case is also IR/ CR1

Hello, i am not sure if NVC will accept the one you attached as additional document or not. One thing is sure, NVC will contact you if there is a missing document. You can also call NVC to see if they receive the new document you submitted. Thanks

HELLO, I SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS TO NVC ON MAY 3 BUT 3 WEEKS LATER I WAS EMAILED THAT ONE DOCUMENT WAS UPSIDE DOWN, SO I RESUBMITTED THE CORRECTION.

Hello, on the document is reviewed and accepted, the status will change to ACCEPT. You can even wait more than 3 weeks because it's will depend on how bus NVC is.

Once on priority date is current, you will get a letter to start your immigrant visa process. When you go to visa interview, the consulate officers will determine whether you can get a visa or not based on different factors (documents, interview and so forth).

Wait after 3 weeks if you fill up your 260 form right and all the required document you sent was clear. U will recieve email from nvc thats its accepted. Then they would schedule your medical and interview.
