Most (all) the women I have worked with it was the nipple. The actual shape of nipple. If their nipples didn’t get hard and small then they would struggle. If nipple stayed puffy and smooth in comparison they struggled and baby struggled. Yes many other reasons I’m sure but the women I worked with all were connected, calm and frustrated .. but the mothers desire to breast feed should never, never , not 1 time come before satisfaction of infant .. they may be trying to breastfeed for the experience but the infant is attempting to feed to survive.
