Daniel is an (unknowing) conspirator in Nacho's plan to kill Hector via a heart attack; if they picked that sound effect specifically because of that, that's some crazy devotion to detail from the Foley artists.

He probably could have just as easily leaned on their history to threaten him into compliance and thus would have saved himself the need to pay anything. But his desperation is such that he’s taking the softest route. It does look like he’s still somewhat threatening him at the end though. I also appreciate the subtle nod to the fact that Pryce has learned something from all this as he immediately goes to Mike for help.
Hes actually pretty smart. A dumb criminal, but very clever. Manages to get away stealing pills (in sealed factory bottles) for a while. Also has a high paying pharma job.
