Fun science experiments featured on the Rachael Ray Show, with guest host Nick Cannon. Jeffrey Vinokur (aka The Dancing Scientist) shows them some some fun experiments with Hydrogen Peroxide, then makes worms from Alginate, and finishes off by dissecting a light bulb and dipping it in liquid nitrogen.
I just wish they would let him talk and we could hear him finish his explanation for why these things happen. i want to hear the Science behind the ooh & ahh of it all.
Yeah. She is sure annoying.
Its all about chemistry
Learn😒
Not possible. Rachel Ray’s rate of speech is 100x that of the average human being. One probably needs a long rest after having lunch with her.
nick had this 'why the fuck am I here' face the whole time
the hydrogen peroxide that he is using isnt the one found at convient stores that hydrogen peroxide is 3% where as the one he is using is food grade and is 35%. There is a difference also that catalyst is potassium iodine.
Do you have link to buy catalyst with potassium iodine perhaps
I made sodium alginate in an engineering class I had. If you use a special syringe like and do something like what they're doing, you can actually get something that looks like a straw. You can then use it as a vein in humans if a segment is damaged and needs to be replaced
That would be awesome, wish they would implement that.
He went to my school and it was amazing
WHAT?
WOAH LUUUCKKYY
lynn._. E OMG LUCKKY HOW
He came to my school today!!
No he didn't
vortex 2.0 and how would u know?

Lmao
There is no 8:39.
Though this video is 5 years old.. I am happy to see you Ms Rachel.. I miss you so much.. May God bless you dear...amin
Good job very nice ,))))
People: Now kid's don't do this at home
Kid: Okay we will do this at our friends home :D

When doesn’t she? lol can’t stand her personally
The second one was amazing
Really amazing
where can i get some of this catalyst
awesome experiment i loved it the cotton candy one. I have
a science fair project i am going to use this experiments
I LOVE IT
Kiran Nauth good luck on the clean up
Kiran Nauth nip
Do you guys know what the catalyst is
@@bwingfield2the catalyst is “iodide” NOT iodine, iodide. You can buy this anywhere really.
I love this place
I love it
Science test: KIDS DONT DO THIS
Kid :this my mums house not mine and I''am child
lol
he came to my school last year and i forgot much, but we got to hear him make an explosion sound. dang, i got scared.
Those experiments were awesome.
Fun applications of physical and chemical principles!
The Scientist sounded irritated throughout his explanations as if he was thinking _God, do these guys listen?_
Witherleader racheal wouldn't shut the fuck up.
Hii
which country belong
please tell me🙂🙂🙂
You said the scientist his names dr.jeff
Who can tell me all the stuffs that he use...Please?
The liquid catalyst is beer he didnt use a powder yeast. But both work the same the liquid is just easier
Wow this amazed me
lovely
wow wish he was my science teacher
Was he a good teacher?
@@carlosT3000 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@@ani110 I know right
They wanted him dancing more than the science
Wow its amazing
You came to our school today! Emery park! Ur so amazing! Wow were all so grateful!!💕
excuse me what is the materials you use when you do experiment like that. Please tell me because it's for our science activity/exhibit.tThank You😊
35% hydrogen peroxide, food coloring, dish soap, and of course.....liquid potassium iodide
@@adamsaquatics3332 pottassium iodide.. Or what?
What's the catalyst on the first experiment?
this is really cool
I like his dance
I am a teacher and my students want to know more about the experiments...what is in the catalyst that he's using? any specific chemical? thanks
Warm water, iodine or yeast
I'm wandering about the chemical reaction at the second experiment. Could you name the yellow dense solution to me?
He said it's a catalyst.
plz reply me if anybody can tell that which tablet he used in first steam one experiement with hydrogen perioxide plz reply
wow! Thats awesome!
I'm doing this for my science project
AND THE SCIENTIST IS AWESOME AT DANCING
Yeah
amazing
THAT WAS SO COOL
HE WENT TO OUR SCHOOL YESTERDAY!!!
Sompong Wangvathanakul he went to our school last year.. i miss him, :c
You can tell nick didn't want to be there
Pause at 0:37
nick is like the kid who got dragged to his mom's friends house who has no kids
He always looks like that LOL.
Korben Dallas:stop there
Me:..................
Not a surprise. He didn't even want to be in Mariah Carey's life. WELP
OMG! That is so cool!
so cool
Okay but what ingredient is the catalyst? I want to make super foam too bro.
I want to know what the first experiment uses.
Me to
Me three
It looked like the pop things your throw on the ground ..
What’s the catalyst in the second experiment
hello can i use an effervescent tablet as a substitute to the catalyst? thank u so much in advance!!
Where was this for my 6th grade volcano project
Wish they could list each at home to do with what is being used... I'd so love to do this with my kids
Look up elephant toothpaste for the foam (if you haven't already found it by now lol) 😊
@@kineticone6602 thank you
He did
What about the first one
What was the “catalyst “ he used to make all the foam? Anybody know?
very nice experiment
I Loved the experiments they did
the laugh at 1:29
+Hunter Robinson hahahahh click 5x in row :D lmao
I read that at 1:29
Gero CZ t
Hunter Robinson I
NYAHAHAHAHA
I AM going to do this at home.
Louis Emery I did this at school
Louis Emery savage!
Charlotte Chen not really savage, people do it at school
Louis Emery right after watching this I immediately did them
What is the catalyst they are using
OMG such a great video
You tryna become a top fan or what
Wow amazing
That was insane😂😂 nick's thingy was the biggest in the dinasouar egg thingy
On his shirt it says "Dancing Scientist"
k
Cool!
Jonathan Manley
No fucking shit
Lol so lame
Awesome
so jeff I am going to be doing the explosion stuff with my class and how does it explode like that I want to know how it explodes
The scientist sounded like he felt super interrupted.
What is this mystery "catalyst"?
piss
It's manganese dioxide. From batteries. But you have to wash it, dry it, powder it. And you need to concentrate normal hair peroxide. Which is done best in a dehumidifier. For rocket grade peroxide you need a vacuum distiller. Or buy it at that concentration. For the manganese any C or D battery has lots of it for cheap.
I wounder what it is
@@emmamalpass4507 piss
I was thinking it was potassium as magnesium has a more delayed reaction
Please tell me sir . Starting experiment used catalyst by oxygen peroxide .
which catalyst did he use? i need to make an experiment in my class to impress my teacher in a few days please i need to know
Nick Cannons face was priceless after the foam! 😂😂😂😂
alguien que me pase los ingredientes del segundo experimento, please 👐❤
Yelinn Castellanos yo ocupo el primero 🥺
Not Koop
Not kool
THIS IS AWESOME
Amazing!
I really want to do the steam one as a prank lol
" It's Like A Cotton Candy Explosion!! "
wow
How to get the information to do it
really really good experiments I love them but can you say what is that thing yellow in the in the colors experiments pleas. thank you
We did this in our 6th grade classroom. I miss that class XD
Xpp 6fx!) 5/-
wondering what catalyst you used for the elephant toothpaste type explosion?
+Alicia Gordon sodium chloride (NaCl) will do
Jorik Roebroek So salt??
Potassium iodide
Can anybody tell me how to do the first experiment what the tools and materials needed to do it?
Can you please tell me what was that yellow colour liquid...
Iodine diluted
.
Potassium iodide
The floofy stuff is called elephants tooth paste and it's made with a catalyst, this instance Iodine. Then the hydrogen peroxide and the dish liquid
Superb
Very good

Wow that was amazing and I wish I could do that😘
What did he use for the first one of the smoke
I would not mind having him as my professor
omg I the dancing science guy came too my school and he was so awsome
Jessica Sartorius_navarrete cool
Jessica Sartorius_navarrete he came to mine tooo
same here i miss him
awesome
I've done that before at school. We were allowed to poke it when it dried
Who has gotten this assigned to be watched by your Science/chem teacher?
PhD in biochemistry😕I'm even thinking of changing it as my major coz that module is hard as hell
I loved it
Could you tell me what all you used in first and secind experiment please.
if there was a tier list for clapping, this would be right up there with Eric Andre
3:58 they don't notice it coming
please tell me the uses of the second experiment
That so great
I love dr. jeff
My teacher showed the class this show I was so amused
4:00 omg COOL
AWESOME DUDE IM TRYING THIS
Didn’t he said to not try this
Can some one tell me tell me everything he use for the 2nd experiment please
The exploding foam would be great to use in a glitter bomb box.
No.....no glitter.....ever
@@adamsaquatics3332 did you ever see that video where that guy made a glitter bomb inside fake packages for package thieves? That's what I'm referring to.
@@PhilLaird no I have not. I'll have to look that up. Lol
