    Looking at this gun as my first rifle in years. Thanks for posting this!

    Picked up a T3x Lite Stainless in 6.5 and am impressed. I'm no Tom Berenger Sniper style troubleshooter but it will print a .8"-1" 5 round group consistently with good factory ammo--mine likes Federal GMM and Barnes Precision Match. Definitely with the lighter barrel groups will open up at the 5th round or so but I'm not shooting matches. Worst I've seen, when I'm doing my part, is a 1.6" 9 round group. Which, for all practical purposes, is fine for hitting gongs at 1000 yards and for a sub-$800 rifle is awesome. Ruger's American Hunter/Predator would be a cheaper alternative but in my mind it's more of a bench gun than a hunting rifle.

    Mate am looking to get the same rifle with 24inch
    At the moment in Australia it costs $2,250.00 (Aud)
    Problem is my shooters license is still being processed since 23.08.20.
    Takes so long in NSW, Aust. Plus we cannot have cans attached. Go figure.
    Later I am looking to get the T3X Tac Ai later for target purposes. Another stupid law is we cannot have a folding stock. Has to be fixed.
    Looking forward to getting both before chrissy

      Thank you for the comment! You will be very pleased with those rifles! We try to not forget about you guys over in Australia. Hopefully one day you will be able to get back your God given rights. In the mean time, don't let them take any more!

    Just broke mine in Monday. We went from 100 out to 450. First shot at 450 I rang the gong. I got the 24” barrel though. The thing I’m most impressed by was it shot all the ammo I put through it well. From $12.50 SandB 140s, hornady match 120 and match 140 all rang the gong. At 100 we shot the power shock and some version of Winchester ammo well.
    I got mine from grab a gun for $929 plus tax. Bought my vortex 6-24-50mm vortex viper pst 1st gen from eurooptic for $530. I have another mag on the way. It was $80 something dollars. I also have a suppressor (gemtech tracker)

    Looking for an optic with much better glass. Cannot go wrong with Tract Toric
    Second to none as far a clearness of glass and other features

      We will have to look into them! Since this video, the SWFA 3-15 has been replaced with a Leupold Mark 5 3.6-18 with the H59 reticle.

      @@markf3229 its a very nice hunting rifle. The barrel is a little thin

    • @suppressedpredatortactics6276
      @suppressedpredatortactics6276  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tylarhaugan7908 it is a little on the thin side. However, it still has excellent accuracy. With that being said, it is more prone to impact shifting when the barrel gets too hot. Although, the only time this would be an issue was if you were shooting a competition with it. For hunting and target shooting, it isn’t an issue.

    What exactly is wrong with the stock?... you talking about the entire body replacement? Thanks

    • @suppressedpredatortactics6276
      @suppressedpredatortactics6276  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is nothing inherently wrong with the CTR stock. However, it is not the most rigid nor the most durable. An aftermarket stock could also improve accuracy. Replacing the stock on this rifle is more of a luxury than a necessity. Currently we are both still running the factory stock on these rifles. Thank you for watching!

      @@suppressedpredatortactics6276 I can see the same prob.
      Who do recommend same stock with different material.
      Factory stock seems to be from Toys R us. Need something more robust.
      Even a wood stock painted grey/black in color

    • @suppressedpredatortactics6276
      @suppressedpredatortactics6276  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@markf3229 The actual stock design is fine as is. A wood stock would certainly be more rigid. However, wood is prone to swelling/contracting with changes of temperature and humidity. Ideally, fiber glass or carbon fiber is the best option. We currently have a Manners PRS1TK ordered for one of the rifles. A full review will follow!

    will there be a big difference in getting this gun in .308 vs 6.5 creedmore?

    • @suppressedpredatortactics6276
      @suppressedpredatortactics6276  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 6.5 is going to have better ballistics. However, more animals (and not to mention men in combat) have been taken with the .308 than the 6.5 could ever dream of! So don't discount the .308. If you can get the 6.5, I would go that direction. However, if you can only find the .308, you will still be able to shoot effectively at long ranges.

      @@suppressedpredatortactics6276 wont the .308 have a longer barrel life too?

    • @suppressedpredatortactics6276
      @suppressedpredatortactics6276  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@scott5521 sorry for the late response. The .308 will have longer barrel life. But, how many guys shoot enough to burn out a barrel? For the guys that spend enough money on ammo to burn out a barrel, they will have enough money to replace it. My rifle (the tan one) has 850 rounds down it over 2 1/2 years. It will easily get 2,000 more rounds before needing to be replaced. If I continue to shoot it at that rate, my barrel will last over 8 years.
