Thank You. Interesting detail I played double lips but when I went to study with the late James Joseph he changed my embouchure to single lip which gave me greater endurance. Mr Gilda is a great teacher and gives subtle advice. God bless you both. Bill. Uk 🎹

Double lip will force you to not bite. It takes the pressure away from the jaw. Very efficient exercise:)

everybody have personal pressure most important is to hear your own voice, collor and dynamic you like. I like soft full sound in forte and mp
I don't force my students to normal lip or double lip.
I've tryed double lip nothing special !
try to discovery your sound and persnality thats important !
When I was child my first lesson and contact with my clarinet was so natural for me and the sound was so big and full of collor.
My teacher was so suprasing of me.
listen and only listen to your voice and you will have the sound belive me !

I hope when you are doing tours and performing concerto with symphony, you also have healthy diet and exercise! it's good for blood pressure and avoid kidney stones

You place the upper lip under the top teeth, just as you place the lower lip over the bottom teeth.
