I had one of these back in school. They provided about 1.5 minutes of entertainment. Until the teacher heard me turn it on during lunchtime and she took it away. I never saw it again.
When i was in kindergarten, I found the Ninja Turtles one on the playground. I gave it to the teacher, and a week later, she gave it back to me because no one had reported it was lost.
Have you done the Mattel handhelds? Those were late 1970s, about the time the original Star Wars figures hit, made with LEDs, and were quite fun for the time.
@@ThatJunkman They were mostly sports, football, basketball, etc. and required imagination. The one I remember best was a Battlestar Galactica Space Alert, which was kind of a Space Invaders type game.
Junkman, I thought you were going to take out that Jedi Obi-Wan doll with a Nerf crossbow or something. 😊 Do you know what happened to those earlier Micro Machines sets with John Moschitta, Jr., the "Micro Machine Man," as the spokesman? With "Skate or Die," I could never skate, so I'd be dead. I think the game that's hard to read looks like "Gradius," but my eyesight isn't that great.
I bought the TMNT variant back in 1990 at a market. I was pretty desperate for something to emulate the NES original somewhat?! It had alot going on a single screen that's for sure and it was pretty action packed. But sometimes when I was playing the thing, it would just freeze on screen as would the sound chip with a high whining sound as well, pretty irritating during play or was it the battery count here?! Konami's LCD games got nothing on Nintendo, Tiger or even the ultral rare Namco LCD games.
I just thought of a toy that was cheap But so Entertaining Pop cycles!!!! The metal rear wheel was having a do burnouts on my grandmother‘s tile floor.
I'm a little late to comment. My friend had the TMNT game. I played it, and it was pretty bad. The only other one I'd want to try is Contra. It could be fun, maybe. If you had a showdown with Obi-Wan, I hate to say, but I think he'll win for sure, junkman 😂😂😂
The turtles are Alfredo, Risotto, Bologness, and Falafel...vs Shredded Cheese.

You and Obi-Wan with the stare down 😂
That was before Konami struck gold with Metal Gear Solid in 1998.
Double dribble that is piss yellow how ironic
I had that TMNT one. It wasn't too bad
Luckily, Konami would never make a stupid decision ever again.
Until they found out about Pachinko.
I know they were all links in the chain of progress, but man those old handhelds were so disappointing
The Obi Wan stare offs made this video GREAT!
thanks it sure did need something extra :)
@@ThatJunkman Nah, it is was great, man!
@@ThatJunkman😂
my grandmother got these for me...a couple of them...they were crap and drained the batteries of the time quickly
I had Bill Elliots NASCAR racing, God it was hard Junkman.
My dad played these games
I have the Contra one. I felt these were a step above Tiger
I have the same plush
Yeah, maybe not the best...But come on,we all have to agree, these games got us through the family road trips..lol
There was also the Sega pocket arcade or whatever the hell it's called
Yeah but the early 80’s handheld LCD Nintendo’s were brilliant. Donkey Kong and all that.
Good video Junky. 🙂
Obi Wan has something out for the Junkman! LoL

I don't know why the Better Business Bureau didn't ever go after these fly by night cheap game manufacturers as well as the crap TIGER games?
I don't think any baseball team could have afforded Dale Earnhardt.
Doubt it
Did u recently watch the good, the bad & the ugly?
Never seen it sadly :(
It’s my dad’s favorite movie
I'd like to try both TMNT games and the skateboard game.
I'm really curious about the Star Trek game and the BBQ game. :) haha

I’d rather stick to the original Game Boy than this.
Yeah, they were shit games alright.
