Great reaction. I've found Nightbirde to be very inspiring. I had 2 stomach surgeries not too long after this audition. I could easily have died and had a lengthy recovery. Whenever I starting feeling down about everything, I remembered Nightbirde's words and positive attitude and it helped me a lot.
Nightbirde is truly an Angel
And a very beautiful soul
I love the fact there’s silence from the audience throughout, and for a few seconds after she finished, no one wanted to interrupt this performance. R.I.P. Nightbirde

Nightbirde and Putri Ariani... Two angels that really flap their wings high to the sky. A true inspiration and symbol of peace and hope for people around the world. These beautiful souls radiate their positive energy like a ray of sunshine. Both are so brave, talented, humble, stunning, charming, and always smiling no matter how hard life is and all obstacles in front of them. Both of them got golden buzzer from Simon Cowell too. Bless them!!😭🙏🕊️
I am convinced there is something wrong, seriously wrong, like a broken soul, if you are not moved by Nightbirde's performance. So many believe that Simon was so moved that he gave her the Golden Buzzer because she was so amazing and he felt she deserved it (she absolutely did). I tend to believe that she gave him something HE needed- something that even the other judges felt he needed. I have no idea what was going on in his life or in his mind, but when she told him "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy", you could see the powerful impact it had on him- immediately. And the other judges looked to him, almost as if to say "she was sent here just to tell you that". Powerful stuff. Amazing woman. She has left her mark on this world and in the hearts of many.
I agree with you. Simon didn’t feel sorry for her. He have her the buzzer because she deserved it. She gave all of something we needed. Sounds like Liz was saying he did it out of pity. Anyone who can’t see the beauty in Nightbirdie’s spirit and her music…, well I feel sorry for them.

Sorry for being late to watch this Liz, but i am glad to see your reaction to Nightbirde's version. I don't know if you caught this, but the silence at the end of before the roar from where everyone was just quiet showed how much she had the attention of the room. This part was also in Mzansi Youth Choir while not as long they also did this at the end of theirs
She really was special. This song really helped some people get through Covid. Also made me smile while remembering my mom. Was really hard that year.
