Hai...Very informative video...What's the name & function of that part which u talked @09:36? In my street twin it came out and I was feeling the air on my leg from the engine...
I've seen the intructions, and the grease must fitted on the opposite side..... why do you not foĺlowed K&N instructons? It has been a mistake or there is a good reason?
The way I understood it, based on the instructions, the grease went in between the filter and the filter cradle. Which is what I did. You don't want that grease on the outside in case it gets loose and flies into some part of the engine or worse, lands on your brakes... Etc.
@@VectorBurnOfficialthanks for the video and how to. It did help with the install. I read the instructions and the sealing grease is supposed to be on the top edge of the rubber flange of the K&N filter. You have to look at the instructions thoroughly as the black and white pic makes it a bit difficult.
@@ra2627 Yes, what you said is the correct way to maintain the air tightness; the cradle is to push the OEM filter rubber to create the seal. It is not the actual path that unfiltered air can go through.
that hose will think twice now! lol
nowhere in my owners manual does it show any air filter, or how to change it. thanks

Thanks. It's the filter hose with a "fuel / filter HOSE CLAMP".
Thanks
Did the grease come with the k&n filter or did you have to buy it separately?
I believe it did.

Use a rachet strap... always!
I have to tell you that you are putting the sealer grease in the wrong place.
