- THIS IS A OVER VIEW OF MY LOWRIDER BICYCLE MAGAZINE COLLECTION. LOWRIDER BICYCLE MAGAZINES ARE WHAT GOT ME INTO LOWRIDING WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO LEARN HOW TO WELD AND BUILD BIKE FRAMES WHEN MY FRIENDS WANTED PLAYSTATION 2'S. THAT LEAD MY INTO A PASSION OF DESIGNING AND CREATING WHICH ULTIMATELY LEAD ME GOING TO SCHOOL FOR ARCHITECTURE.
It would be awesome if showed each magazine. Lots of highlights. Lots of education. Lots of content. This magazine was awesome.
Bad ass video 🙌. I lived in Idaho and it was a pain in the ass to get the issues there. Some how I was lucky enough to get every issue. I met Nathan in the mid 90s very cool dude. Seen him again in the mid 2000s and he did a photo shoot with my daughter's bike. It got featured in the lrb with little rob in the cover and the girls lowrider magazine issue. I'm 50 now and I still love bicycles lol.. bad ass video bro cool info👊
Thanks bro, there is something about lowrider bikes that is pure art and I love it. A Imapala will always be a impala but a bike can become anything. Nathan is a good dude and was in Idaho recently, he drives freight now cross country. I’ve been to Boise, I worked on the renovation for the Karcher Mall.
Hell yeah brother. I need to dig out what I currently have.
Got to air them out occasionally 😎
You should definitely do more bike content. Not much good bike content on TH-cam.
🙏🏽 then that’s what I shall do 🤙🏾
@@KilozMediaHELL YES!!!!! Bout time we get some good bike content!
Thanks for Guam shout out bro. Dope68 out here in Guam
Nothing but love for Guam 🤙🏾
When I started lowriding I had a 62 Schwinn with 40 spokes of a gt proformer
That’s bad ass
My nephew Albert Parra and Kevin Johnson were on the cover from Passion Bike Club with Sal
Thats awesome! Thanks for sharing that info, I saw Kevin last October when he brought the Felix bike back out.
👍🏽
Thanks for checking out the video.
I'm in one holding 64 hopper at a model show in Victorville
That’s awesome any idea what issue?
@@KilozMedia I have no clue I lost my copy lol
@@TenTenFarms I’ll have to do a video reading through each issues.
Do you have the car lowrider magazine that came out 6 months before the bike book with passion bike club in it
6 months before winter 1993?
not sure if i missed it but, how many issues are they in total?. I'm still trying to complete my collection
I believe the number is 42, they get randomly released after 2002 some times once a year and a case where they release 2 issues at the same time. Also thanks for checking out my channel.
i noticed you have duplicates. you willing to sell one of them.?
@@JayO1963 sorry I’m strictly a collector, not a seller. eBay is a great resource to check regularly there are several lowrider bicycle issues in there currently.
dang it was worth asking brother lol. i check regularly on there. if I recall , i need the 2002-2003 issues to complete my collection
Gold Rush was lowrider magazines first bike of the year. The ET Bike that some people say is the First bike of the year was never crowned by lowrider magazine.
CORRECT, A LOT OF PEOPLE SAY THAT SHOULD BE THE BIKE OF 1992
@@KilozMedia those people that say 1992 ET was the first bike of the year seem to forget that this is lowrider magazines history and not the one that they made up. What about the bikes that won the Supershow from 1988 to 1991. Why don't those count for them. They overlook those bikes. 1993 Gold Rush was the First Lowrider Bike Honored by Lowrider Magazine .
Someone told me once that 1993 Gold Rush was the first official bike of the year and 1992 ET was the first unofficial bike of the year. It doesnt make sense , to be unofficial means lowrider magazine didn't give them the title and if ET was unofficial then all the bikes that won starting from 1988 to 1991 would be unofficial.
Actually the magazine I was looking for was April 1989
Ohh yea I think I have 3 copies of that one. Are you on Instagram? I can send you photos if that's what you're looking for.
Hi,Kiloz✋konichiwa😊
The story going back 2,30 years ago is very interesting.
The hydro-equipped bicycle that appeared in this video may have appeared in those magazines in the past, and is still being carefully stored in Japan.
