Hawks just have our number recently, just like we had their number during the dynasty years. Weird rivalry between these 2. Mrazek is just one of those random goalies that can go full Hasek at random times

TNT blacked out the game in Denver, so at least the locals mostly couldn't watch it. I am glad I spring for Altitude+. It feels like we frequently lose on national games 😕

im in alberta canada , we have 7 sportnets channels and 6 tsn channels and of 13 channels one game was playing caps and nucks ,and when the avs do play and the game is on one of those channels its usually blacked out lol the nucks avs game was blacked out ffs a month ago lol useless ,nhl does this big deal with rogers for broadcast rights then they black games out , great business plan lol

Mitts is straight up afraid to shoot. Defenders look off the shot when he has the puck. It's as predictable as the PK loading the blue line on an Avs PP zone entry. The Powerplay is so f'n bad🤮

Tough to really classify this loss. On one hand, they kind of got goalie’d - Mrazek was amazing. But at the same time, the Avs looked a little aloof out there. The 3rd period was sloppy, the power play was miserable. I know it’s the NHL and any team can win on any given night, but the Avs really should have put this one away.

i have been waiting for a team to be ballsy enough to send one guy to the blue line short-handed to intercept the dropback pass on the slingshot, this had better be the wake-up call the Avs need to change their powerplay when Chicago has it figured out

Trent Miner did not lose this game, but Mackenzie Blackwood makes the the saves on the first two goals.

Mrazek was hot in net… but not good enough.

besides the obvious of running into a hot goalie yet again smh , the boys seemed very disjointed after the first , just lost out there, giveaways were insane pp was non existent again ,and that goes into the final 3:30 with the goalie pulled we had one shot in 3 mins 6 on 5 smh extra man play has to change 2-3 passes and put it on net not 10-12 passes and miss the net wasting the pp time smh miner played good enough for a win in that game so that sucks for him :(

You guys are in this way too deep. Miner isn't very good and the top line didn't get it done. Simple. I'd rather have the depth discussion because there isn't really any.

Nathan is the best player in the world, but I'm getting tired of him passing when he should shoot, and his lazy laksidaisy passing that ends up on the stick of the opponent. he needs to play with more thought and control.

There are always tons of excuses for when the Avs lose to a bottom dweller. Contenders don't lose to teams like the Blackhawks. Twice. A response like "There are always going to be games like these", doesn't give me any confidence about the future of this season.

The Blackhawks lost 3 out of 4 against the horrid Oilers one year during their run. Yes these things do happen, hockey is weird and nothing matters until the playoffs. Also we were on our 3rd string goalie

You're free to use our comments but don't use portions of them. I think we made it pretty clear losing a game like this wasn't acceptable and the comment went further than there will always be games like these
