Im currently playing this game and surprised how much fun I've been having with it. The art style is a big part of its appeal but it's an addictive ride
Lol I had to rewind as I thought you said Neil Diamond wrote Coraline. Art style is great and saved this so I could play in during October. Big Burton fan and this is right up my street. Really enjoying it so far.
I really enjoy your style of reviewing, keep up the great work. As for the game, it looks quite interesting, I have added it to my wish list. Thanks for introducing me to it.
Cheers very much! I really appreciate you taking the time to say that 😊 Yea, it really is a good game. I enjoyed it and as I mentioned, if you go in with an open mind, I think u'll enjoy it. Thanks for watching! 👍
This game looks interesting. Big fan of horror themed stuff, this comes close enough lol. Usually the card and die would deter me away, but I've been thinking of giving these kind of games a chance for the sake of freshness.
Yea man, its honestly pretty special in my opinion. Its got the slightest (and mean SLIGHTEST) edge of jankyness but I really found it to be great. If you're remotely interested and go in with an open mind, you'll likely enjoy it! Let me know if you do decide to get it 👍
I am one of those people who care about physical copies of games. I would have bought this game already (maybe even day 1 (which is extremely rare for me with video games lol)) had it been a physical copy. I don't mind digital games too much, but I try very hard to avoid them when they are single player games like this, that basically have a story, you beat, get collectibles, and then you're done. I don't mind keeping multiplayer games or sports games as digital, because I tend to play those a little more often casually. Good video :)
Thanks Billy, I appreciate that. Yea, I agree with you. I pretty much always get a physical copy unless of course, I'm given a code for the review. Although, sometimes if I end up loving a specific game, I will still buy a sealed copy to keep for my collection. So yea, I always go physical unless its literally not possible. Even then, my limit is usually around £25/$30. Anyway, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍
Glad it was helpful! I genuinely appreciate the feedback and thank you very much for taking the time to watch my video and leave a comment. It means a lot to me👍🏻😊
I’ll give it a go. Seems we have similar gripes with games but it doesn’t sound like any of the “things” are bad enough to stay away from it. Thanks, mate.
It almost looks like Tim Burton had a hand in this. I'm going to say, no mini map means I won't be able to play this. This game really looks like something I woulden't enjoy, it looks to stiff and the gripes you mentioned are the type of thing that would eventually annoy me. Any time a character gets stuck in the scenery or the environment is hard to navigate it breaks the game for me. Wrestling a game over controls is never fun. I like the idea though and if they can patch over the negatives and add a mini map so an idiot like me knows where to go I would try it. Awesome review as always
Cheers John, yea that's more than fair. As you know, I'm cool with people like or not liking a game or agreeing or disagreeing with my opinions. It really seems like people have forgotten that, as we've moved more into the digital age. I ended up quite enjoying the game, its not mind blowing but it kept me hooked till the end and didn't really try to pad anything and outstay its welcome. Its not gunna be for everyone and that's normal. Thanks for watching as always mate 👍

It’s brilliant from how I played it ^^

Agreed with basically all points. Great video!
Thanks very much my friend. I appreciate you taking the time to leave that comment.👍🏻😊
Very good review.
Lots of details and clever.
Thank you.

One of the greatest games I've ever played
I’ll give it a go. Seems we have similar gripes with games but it doesn’t sound like any of the “things” are bad enough to stay away from it. Thanks, mate.
Hey dude, yea I think that's right. Its got some minor jankyness but other than that its a proper little gem in my oh so humble opinion haha.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery and admiration.
This is one of those games that is pretty good but could have been AMAZING with a bit more polish and vision.
great review
Hey there, thanks very much! I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by and say that. 👍🏻😊
Looks nice
I love this game but you are correct sir .
The map is garbage .
It's a good thing the game is so dang interesting I don't mind wandering blindly lol😂
the fact that the exploration is so poor and theres 0 progression to the character make the game a big 5 for me... sadly i was hyped as hell
Exploration doesn't have well defined certain criteria like rogue-likes; ...that said, the fact there's no jump button DOES irk me some kinda way 😂
