Definitely, I ride both my on-road and off-road touring bikes wearing trail shoes/walking shoes. So much more convenient as you say, especially for gravel bikepacking where space is at a premium 🙂

I have the same problem with my shoes. I have been putting chain oil on them 😂

Did it work? I never tried that one...dod tried lithium grease last time.

Maybe try riding flat pedals for a few weeks??

Try a bit of silicone lube wiped onto the sole around the cleat area, that's what I've used before.
