leaking Schrader valves is probably the most common problem. I never trust the ones that come on the aftermarket items. I take them out and replace them with higher-quality shaders.

temp definitely affects the pressure both running and not. There is a guide on the internet for pressure vs ambient temp.

Also you can put the sniffer in the drain tube to see if you have an evaporator leak, I would also check with UV light to see if u can see any leaks
