    great job on the explanation and the car drift pretty good for an offroad car :D

      Thanks. Yes, of course you can‘t compare this off road monster with an indoor drifter with hard tires. But the principle is still the same. The tractor style tires of this monster track have pretty much no sideways grip and the stabilit ycontrol is a great way to stay on the track

      TheDIYGuy999 can't get the steering to work. Gyro is working. :-(

      TheDIYGuy999 finally got it working! Managed to see the issue, I soldered a wire on a different spot lol. Now it os working but haven’t tested it yet since it is raining on our city.

      Cool! I hope it will work fine. You probably will have to adjust the gain etc.

    Man sorry to bring back a very old video, I have had nothing but bad luck getting a suitable gyro for my 1/10th drifter. This is way better solution for me cause I can dial it in where I can't on the others only 1 question, is everything still good to go or do you have any updated versions?

    Nice! Yeah it looks a little like the Wild Boar ;-) (Tamiya joke)

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. It does not only look like a wild boar, it also behaves like one. Wild and impetuous.

      TheDIYGuy999 Definiyly. And even more than the Tamiya Wild Boar itself :-)

      That's funny. I didn't even know, that a Tamiya wild boar exists.

    great job, i have a question:
    the stability sistem work only on straight or aso in curves?
    i'm waiting for a a595b, and i will use your sistem to increase the stability of the car

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks. Yes, it also works in curves and is a big help to achieve a stable drift angle.

    i tried create one (3pin) but i have problem i tried to turn right from my remote my servo cannot turn right,but turn left not problem, and also my servo whine.
    servo mg966r
    remote fs gt3b
    please your advice
    thanks

      Have you tried a different servo? Check your signals with an oscilloscope. Also have a close look at the code and try to understand it.

    Can I add speed sensor,temperature sensor and battery sensor to the same board? Thanks

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In theory yes, you just have to change the software

      @@TheDIYGuy999 I'm kinda new on this,I would like to add a telemetry to my rc car and display it on my phone,kinda traxxas does with speed temperature etc.

    very cool! but I have two questions:
    How does this affect the steering resolution? Because the Arduino has to create the PWM...
    And how is the latency that this solution adds?

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I can't feel any latency and the resolution is fine in my eyes. The transmitter and the receiver are also based on Arduino. In this video you can see, that the steering is much better than with the stock remote: th-cam.com/video/eOeNbomJrqM/w-d-xo.html
      The biggest improvement is, that there is no dead zone around the center position.

      thank you for the answer! Great to hear! I was asking because I was looking into attinys for RC controll but almost all of them only have 8-bit-timers (while the atmega328 has 2 8-bit-timers and a 16-bit-timer. Basically the higher your timer resolution, the finer the PWM that is produced.

    Hi, does it work with coke can rc car or other rc car that uses old radio syatem with stok reveiver?

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It works with every receiver, which has srandard outputs for 3 pin servos. But it will never fit inside a coke can car. In this case you have to use my micro rc system with integrated stability control
