ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with multi-platinum recording artist, Grammy Award winner, and talented actress Ariana Grande claiming her red chair alongside superstar Coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton as they return for Season 21. Carson Daly returns as host. The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and Live Performance Shows.
This season's Battle Advisors include Jason Aldean (Team Kelly), Kristin Chenoweth (Team Ariana), Camila Cabello (Team Legend), and Dierks Bentley (Team Blake). For the Knockouts, one superstar Mega Mentor will work with all the coaches and their teams.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I don't think anyone understands how much I love Kelly. She's such a bundle of joy and her personality made the show 100x more enjoyable to watch. If I were a singer and she turned her chair, I'd choose her in a heartbeat.

I agree. Always feel happy watching her. When I was recovering from wisdom teeth extraction I watched her Instagram livestreams in bed and felt happy. And I can’t stress this enough - the best part about it is that her fans get the same Kelly Clarkson that her crew and industry friends get. The opposite of Ellen DeGeneres.
I love Blake and Kelly's friendship! They've known each other for over a decade and they went through the ups and downs of life, including divorces (Blake's divorce from Miranda, Kelly's divorce from Brandon), yet they still managed to keep that genuine, fun, and long lasting friendship! THE BANTERS BETWEEN THEM THIS SEASON ARE SO FUNNY!

As a long time viewer of The Voice, I realize that all the shade and banter are part and parcel of the show, and to some degree, I believe the coaches are "coached" to throw as much dirt at each other as possible for ratings-like popcorn was so waiting in the wings for John and Ariana to conveniently munch on while Blake and Kelly went at it (really?). I don't mind that aspect of the show too much as it does add some interest, but I'm mainly there for the contestants. I want to experience their journey with them and root for my favorites, however, I don't know if I'm going to be able to watch the current dynamic with the judges if it continues to be as mean spirited as these 2021 opening blinds were. I almost couldn't watch last Tuesday's installment to the end. While each judge has their own pros and cons personality-wise, I'm not digging the addidtion of Grande's vibe yet. And I'm trying. I have respect for her as a person and as artist as well as for her professional accomplishments but she's got to bring more than what I've seen so far. Like I said, they all have their cons, but Blake has old world charm, John has laid-back class, and Kelly has heartfelt exuberance. I'm waiting to see what endearing quality Ariana has in the midst of all the rudeness displayed across the board. Hopefully, that will develop over the course of time. Meanwhile, I sincerely hope that The Voice coaches the coaches to tone down the mean spiritedness that has creeped it's way in. Why do I watch, The Voice? I appreciate that all the talent are singers and I don't have to figure out who's better, the singer or the juggler, the juggler or comedian, etc. In this way, The Voice is super pure. I would also like to thank The Voice for not annoying the audience with super long drawn out waits for results while requiring them to chant mantra's, over and over again, to "Take it off!" ad nauseum. Voice, you got purity and class going for you. Please don't let things get distractingly petty, and stick to letting the contestants shine. Remember, it's, The Voice, not The Coaches Colosseum.
