I must say that you have produced the best ploughing video that I have see in some time. I am a old timer only worked on the farm when I was very young but never lost my love of it. Seeing all these different tractors and ploughs is just a great display of over the years what came along and what was used to do the farming. thank you for your great editing and your video.
Appreciated seeing the ol Farmall m. Loved the 2 stroke diesel on one of the Oliver's, reminded me of the old Terex scraper I used to run. Great video, loved seeing all the tractors doing what they do best.
At 18 mos. old, I took my nephew for a short ride on my tractor. He has been hooked ever since. No motorcycles, cars, four wheelers, nothing but tractors. Now at a little over two, he loves to watch this video more than any cartoon out there. Coming in a close second place is the cartoon "Tractor Tom," go figure...
I would like to attend one of these pow days sometime if you could post dates. One of my favorite tapings you did was it a dairy farm in Western New York I do believe it was purina in Perry ny I am from nunda ny
Looks like it has been a while since this was plowed. Some of these guys had their pumps turned up a bit too far despite the rated load or less they were pulling. I was impressed by the R, 6030, and the 4620. Moving thru the field without much fuss with rated loads and speeds.
Home-made. Our Dad & Uncle built the hitch in 1960 with the help of a local blacksmith. They used a Farmall SM on the back. On the front was a JD 720, later an IH 560D, then last was a JD 4010D. All the time they pulled that same model plow we have in the video (Oliver 4441), however in the 6-16s configuration. We restored the hitch last year and used a restored M we have for the rear tractor.
Where is this? I live in Saskatchewan, seen lots of 50 ft discers, double discs and 60 ft cultivators, don't think I've ever seen a plow with more than 2 gangs, and was horse drawn.
I hate the gaggle of UTVs and golf carts SO much, and I'm not really sure why; in the older vids, the crowd gets that close to the action on FOOT, and that never bothered me. But I find myself waiting for one of these stupid little 4-wheelers to pull up too close and get MULCHED. The real action is good, though. Looks like pretty tough soil, judging by the laboring tractors.

Love the Johnny Poppers! Nothing like that sound of simplicity!
One of the best plowing videos I have seen. Great job!!!

That front wheel assist 1206 is really nice
It's amazing how much tractors have changed over the years
scenes from my youth! the 1206 & 560 in particular.
those tracters are beautiful great video
beautiful soil, efficient tillage, reasonable crop prices; life doesn't get much better
At times I could smell the soil and dust, so beautiful is it
Some of the plows are not set up for the tractors pulling them.
I used to plow with a 1130 Massey Ferguson. It had a 354 Perkins diesel with a turbo. It was very torquey and a pulled a five bottom with ease.

Very good demo of M B Plow tractors
Thanks for the awesome video!
Didn’t see many of the big muscle allis must’ve gotten a full pull already
that popping johnny at 2:29 sounds better than the one in front of it. :)
love that 2+2 IH
Red Bibs Bill at 9:20 mark !!!!!
Is anyone able to explain why the 2+2 anteater design was discontinued when case bought ihc?
great show
All great tractors
awesome!!! wish I would a been there
I thought farmers gave up plowing decades ago with the advent of no till planting!
The 6030 seems to just play with the 6 bottom.
nice tractors
Village TV tie 2tractors together were the first 4 wheel drives, Massey made one 3 bottom in the 30’s
Nice work on the double farmall like at 14:35
Is it self made or was it produced like that ?

Strange, I have this weird desire to buy a moldboard plow and head over to Rantoul.

Does any one use disc plow any more all the videos I see they use solid wing moldboard plows?
Top class.
very good soil
Nice old hard working tractors
Like the 2 cylinder John Deere and the Oliver’s

Rusty Shackleford Bear

Rusty Shackleford Bear
Was there design faults?
with my massy 255 and 2 furrow plough i can plow in 3 low
Ambrose Mackinnon it can handle 3 16s faster than that . Or it can if it's running properly
@@jlsmith6310 no it wont
I have a 245 and use a 2 bottom 12 inch and its all it can handle.
Super machine
I bet there's good BBQ and Beer at these events.
Farmers still love their plows, don't they. KIT d
