The level of the 22 players on the pitch is just outrageous. All so physically powerful, the pace, the technique, monsters of the game.
This is the game uefa b course coaching stuff has taken away from us.
It’s also why we’ll never see players like Messi and Ronaldo again. They were forged in passionate rivalries like this, where you could risk getting hurt any second. it spurred them to go above and beyond in all aspects of their football.
The players. The game. The managers. The kits. The stadium. The ball. The goals. Perfect
Ronaldo. So Young. What a Superstar hes now. Can u imagine...
He was bread by a team of absolute monster characters in that united team, + Fergie. Going to united was such a great career choice for him, I believe its partly why he is who he is today, Roy Keanes influence was huge on him.
love it when Ronaldo shushes the Arsenal crowd. audacious and badass.
Just GOAT things 🐐🔥
End of the day Messi is the goat for a reason
@@alessiodelcastillo1613Yeah myan for you
8:38 What a pass from Scholes...
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fabregas produced much better passes than that
Idc what anyone says but THIS is why I loved growing up watching football. This was just the pinnacle of rivalry.
I really Don't understand when people say back in the day the game was slow,, this players were very highly technical and fast, physical.
that was prime futbol
This was prime Premier League. I’m from a Latin household so a lot of talk about Spanish football aka La Liga. Watched it and I just didn’t find the joy or fun with their play. One day I saw a premier league game in 2002 and fell in love with the crowds passion with their chanting, pace, shots, physicality. Then I fell in love with United and it’s been history since. GGMU.
Now a days football is played in systems. Pointless possession and passing around the back. When was the last time you saw players beat a fullback in a 1v1? This was high intensity, quick turnaround, and one aim, score goals. I always maintained players now might be better athletes, but they are not better footballers. All their natural ability is coached out of them at a young age.
My favorite match of all time. It was just non stop action from start to finish.
Keane taking the ball clean from Henry still brings joy to my eyes.
People go on about the Man City team but either of these would beat them, they wouldn’t live with the physicality of these players
Yeah ok 😂😂😂😂😂
@@user-dr2ww2jg8oit’s factual boss, these guys were a different level
@@koolaidcrusade7776 mate Rodri, akanji, ake, dias, stones, haaland, walker, ederson and KDB too a certain extent are some of the most physically imposing players. These teams would get dogwalked if city played like they did against real madrid
@@emilevangheem6165 lol. Most of them aren't even that physical especially KDB. While Walker, Haaland and Rodri are physical according to today's standards but not according to 2004 standards ( only walker if I give you one) those players were too physical u must be kidding if you think KDB, Diaz, Akanji, Rodri can live with Campbell, Viera, Keane, Rooney, Lauren etc physically. Plus modern players wouldn't have refs coming to save them after every 2 minutes in 2004 like it happens today so these players would have to man up against those physical beasts who were always out to outmuscle opponents, so if you take refs protection out of the game all you have left is physical monsters with technical ability vs athletes, and it would be a long day then . Proper footballers Vs athletes?
Also technically only KDb and Bernardo Silva can come close to Pires, Fabregas, Bergkamp, Ronaldo, Henry, Scholes , Viera but do you think those two could even live physically with those beasts without ref protection. No chance. So I have made things simple for you. As Much as we praise man city for their dominance, and rightly so, it's ridiculous to even think they could easily outshine those arsenal and united sides of early 00s lol with their technique, physicality, pace and everything. Yeah only in dreams. Only a kid can suggest that who started watching football after 2013.

@@emilevangheem6165u kid bro
Walker wouldn t do anything against players like rooney Roy Keane ferdinand
that dive from Ashley Cole deserved a red it was so bad
That tackle from Silvester on Pires deserved red and it was a clear penalty. Typical united getting away
Those were the days...
eu realmente não sabia o quão bom era ver jogos "antigos" até vê-los 😮
Would've been a 4 minute VAR check for that last O'Shea goal in today's game. Great game
You bastards never mentioned that sick pass from Rooney at 2:29
People forget how good scholes was it's insane
What a match
both team has unlimited stamina ❤
Ronaldo GOAT 🐐
As a Chelsea fan i want this united powerhouse to comeback and Chelsea too if that happens the premier league title race will be a 5 horse race

That ball from scholes. He just makes it look so easy.

LMAO Man United not only ended Arsenal's 49 league unbeaten run earlier that season.
They also ended Arsenal's unbeaten league home run streathing to newrly two years aswell in this game. 🤣😂 And bare in mind, this was Arsenal's only defeat at home all season. Damn. 🤣😂
back in the day when the whistle meant 'GOAL' and not 'VAR' check'
