I'm not normally a fan of Dragonball, but someone recently decided to release a song inspired by this game ("Who's standing now?" by Divide Music, in case you're curious) and that finally got me hyped to give this content a watch too. As expected, the chaos is pretty intense and unpredictable when you don't know what each character can do. However, I am finding it surprisingly easy to get a feel for the flow of the fight and most individual actions, despite all the teleporting around. So I may not be able to read things as clearly as with the Armored Core series and this isn't the type of game I'd personally want to be at the controls for, but it's still very much an enjoyable spectacle. Plus, I got some highlights out of this as well: 1:35 Did you just play teleport leapfrog with Lord Beerus? Like, that wasn't a scripted move, right? Either way that's a hilarious interaction. 3:17 Freaking comboing away a whole bar's worth of HP into a cinematic, now that's a way to finish a fight. 4:07 and 5:14 For some reason these brief, fast strafing projectile spam exchanges never fail to be satisfying. If they last much longer than these two they usually get stale quick, but they do work remarkably well as dynamic seasoning sprinkled into the action. 16:35 The amount of control you got over the fight against a skilled opponent here is impressive to watch. A solid half minute there, in which almost everything just seems to fall into place perfectly. Fun times. Though I should probably focus less on collecting gameplay highlights with this game, considering how many of the matches ended up being a tight back and forth of mind games and snap decisions from start to finish rather than an exchange of spectacle plays outside of the cinematic attacks.
I'm wicked happy you decided to give this video a shot, and I'm even happier that you can follow it enough to enjoy it 😁 Yep and the constant teleports back and forth is all timing, so not scripted. I was ecstatic that I got the chance to combo into my ultimate. The ki blast strafes are common mind games but it definitely gets excessive sometimes 😂 16:35 in particular was the result of anticipating his entire game plan. That character is insanely strong and so a lot of people resort to the same tactic since they find so much success with it. As with anything though, if you know what's coming you can plan accordingly. Doesn't always work out though lol!
Good on your for not using broken meta characters I use metal cooler and once in a blue moon I’ll find someone that doesn’t want to just cheese and actually fight and it gets my blood pumping
i just want you to keep playing turles for your fruit commentary haha you should bust out my boy yamcha, and make people give him the respect he deserves. They did the man dirty as the series went on. Maybe do some team matches of him and all saibamen haha
I always thought Goku Black was Turles back from the dead somehow. Damn I hate how Dragon Ball Super and GT changed how violent some of the movies/episodes were in the older franchise.
Turles kinda rules. Great moveset and some badass super attacks
Hell yeah, he's a great character.
Man Turles is one of my favorite villains. He was nasty strong in Xenoverse 2 and looks pretty good here. I might have to pick this game up.
@@sigfrodr I always remember how brutal he was. Super cool villain. This game us craaaazy amounts of fun. Especially single player.

Haha thanks! I just like to play what's fun, and hopefully fun for my opponent too.

That would be pretty funny 😄

@@azurespectrum1985 That was my first thought when I saw Goku Black, I was hype that maybe they made Turles Canon finally 😄
