I couldn't decide between using a square notebook or a blackout notebook for my 2025 reading journal, so I ended up making a system that uses both, because why not 😅 I will definitely be taking inspiration from your videos for the black one throughout the year. Can't wait to see what you do!
i actually placed an order from archer & olive recently because they had a square black-page journal! do I know what i'm going to use it for? nope but i'm sure i'll think of something 😂 also thank you so much, I appreciate it 🖤🖤
Coffee shop with a stationery shop sounds fantastic…set it up in my town and I’ll be there almost every day…there’s a Portuguese cafe with great tarts that I’d have to get to as well!!😊
I love the chalkboard signs, will definitely be creating something similar in my spreads! I got the black STM journal because of you ☕ my yearly theme for 2025 is dark academia, very inspired by your bujo from 2024. A couple other fun yearly spreads I've done: Travels - a world map to "pin" travel destinations and list dates/locations on the page Dopamine Menu - self care options: "apps" small 15 min tasks like yoga, "mains" like reading, "sides" like listen to music, and "treats" for special occasion like getting a massage Vision Board - what I want to manifest for the year, separate from goals
omg yes we love a dark academia theme 🤍 not sure if you post your spreads anywhere but I'd love to see!! also i'm definitely stealing those spread ideas haha 🤩
Finally, i was waiting for your setup ❤ Me too, i like to match my monthly themes with the cover of the journal to make it cohesive 😂 I CAN'T SLEEP IF IT'S NOT
I did a similar coffeeshop set up in September with warm browns, neutrals and black paper with just a touch of matcha green. The black chalkboards were so very fun to set up that I am doing a sort of antique schoolroom/ School Marm themed 2025 set up just so I can do more chalkboards. Your cover spread is just gorgeous and your sweater is the coziest perfect match. I need to start being braver about dismantling old books.
Aw I love that you went with a similar vibe! Antique schoolroom sounds amazing 🤩 I get how you feel about dismantling books, I suppose I just feel like I'm giving them a new purpose! 🤍
Thisis such a cute and cozy journal! I did an entire month with black paper back in June and it was really fun! I hate bigger-tipped pens though, so I actually found a set of pastel colored Juice Up pens on amazon and used those. They are WONDERFUL! The colors are vibrant, and I loved having pink, blue, green, and purple to use! I will do another month this coming year in black for sure!
Gorgeous set up as always! I did buy a black page journal because of you, but I'll be honest I chickened out of using it as my main journal 😅 I am currently planning on using it for the second half of the year, or maybe as a memory keeping journal rather than for day to day use. My initial yearly set up is not normally themed, but for 2025 I have a lovely monthly subscription set from Novabelle, which is all purple butterflies, flowers and windows, so I will be using that ❤
aww I love that you got one anyways! it's definitely daunting but maybe using it for a different journal will help you ease into it 🤭 also that yearly theme sounds sooo pretty! 💜
My planner and journals are so different from yours but seeing you work on yours gives me inspiration for working on mine :) Also I LOVE coffee and coffee shops. I live in Portland and go out about twice a week just for the ambiance and people watching … I have a nice coffee maker at home but it’s still fun to go out
such a gorgeous setup!! i love seeing how you use your black page notebook, because it’s just so different from what most people use, so it’s really inspiring to see how you create these gorgeous pages 🫶
Love your setups, really tempted to try a black page journal next. Question, where is the "loose" dot grid paper from? Been trying to find some black and kraft coloured but it's been proving hard.
Love the video! Just wanted to let you know that the link to your camera in the description goes to the tripod listing. I checked another video and it's the same there. :)
How do you decide which pages to rip out? I assume the pages were from books that were falling apart? I think a bit more a specified question would be, are the pages you taped/glued down special (fave quotes, fave book etc) or are they just random? Wonderful set up btw
The pages are from old books I get from second-hand bookshops! There's one near me that has a $1 section, so I usual just search that to see if I can find any books that interest me (shakespeare, poetry, classic lit etc.) 😊

Impressive! Nice neutral colours, stickers and layers in the layout. 😇❤️🙏🙌
thank youuuu 🤍
I love your spreads!
For your overview of monthy themes you could add some sticky notes and use them to plan for the themes of the months ahead.
oh that's a great idea! 🤩
@savannahscribbles it's a method Erin Smith uses that I thought would work well for your set up. I'm glad you like the idea.
I did not see your little craft calendars on your Etsy website. Will they be available soon?
just restocked them 🤍🤍

thank you so much! it's from archer & olive but it's been sold out forever 😪 i'm almost out of it so I hope they restock it soon ~
