I started high school in the 92/93 school year but I really watched the show when it first aired on TV during the high school years. Once it went to college I got interested in other shows and sports. But afterwards I went back to watch all of the episodes on binge.
Future Academy Award winner Hillary Swank was a regular cast member for a season. Dean Cain appeared in a few episodes a year before he was cast as Superman/Clark Kent on 'Lois & Clark the New Adventures Of Superman'. Milton Berle guest starred as a retired vaudevillian performer who Steve Sanders befriended. Burt Reynolds showed up in an episode as well.
I was just going to say that *Hilary Swank* was hired for the 8th season (1997-1998) but was unceremoniously fired after 16 episodes, in the middle of the season. Then just a year later, she landed her first Oscar-winning role. Talk about showing them!
What about all the other musical guests? Jamie Walters, Color Me Bad, Jade, Luther Vandross, Flaming Lips, David Koz, and so many more! Wish there would have been a reboot before Luke Perry’s death. He added so much to that show!
I started watching this during my Junior High. I was 12 at that time.. It was aired once a week every Sunday afternoon in my Country, Indonesia. I was really looking forward to watching this from Monday to Saturday haha... My Mom was also a supporter of me ..

I think it's great seeing the 90210 cast together again, but it's sad not having Luke "Dillon " Perry not there. I also wish it was a actual reboot with them playing the old characters, not playing themselves preparing for a reboot. Just my opinion.
@@KJ3113 Because none of the cast members had any interest whatsoever in doing that. The creativity of what the show was is what drew the cast members to it. We would have seen the cast in their character roles more had Fox picked up a second season. That is when the "meta" show would have really become a show within a show, with the cast being shown filming scenes of their picked up reboot in character. I think Fox really missed the boat on picking up the show for a second season to see what the show really could have become.
I hope they keep the reboot going. I think that stalker kid may actually be Luke's son (on screen), and wants kinda revenge on the rest of the characters because of his death

Gregory Itzin played a priest in one episode where he saw Donna exiting the Adult section of a local video store after Kelly had talked her into peeking inside on a dare. Itzin would eventually portray President Charles Logan on "24".
Most of them experienced Tragedy over the years...Luke died... Brenda has cancer... Donna married a deadbeat and she's broke... Brandon had a horrible race car crash ! David can't keep a wife ! Even the Rich and Famous experience Problems....
