Mining methods in Pakistan are not safe & not well mechanized & because of that the lives of the miners are at constant risk also the techniques used are manual & outdated, old blasting & hammering ways alone can disintegrate & destroy a lot of the precious gems. Govt of Pakistan must properly regulate & take care of the mining industry, implement safety measures & mechanize it to ensure the safety of the miners & better excavation of the precious & semi precious gemstones, henceforth there'll be very less waste of the resource, better exploration, sustainable development, environmental rehabilitation & saving the resource for the future generations. The miners are very ambitious & hard working but just need a little support from the Govt & if given then they can turn Pakistan into one of the biggest gem exporters of the world.
