Missouri has a great trout fishery too, btw. One of the supposed best lakes in the nation is right there in Branson.

Yesterday I went to J&M tackle and got what I think was the last pack of Coquina fishbites endorsed by Bama Beach bum. I was so excited. Caught 2 croakers this a.m. in the lagoon.

Is that a Penn Slammer you got on the bummy stick? If so what model the 1st gen, 2nd, 3rd,... 4th and size/class? How do you like using it and how does it feel handling those big fish? Looking at the slammer IV around 5500 because the gear ratio is close to what I am use to using with Penn 5000 & 6000 class fierce, battle, conflict, etc series of reels.
I tried doing the style of fishing in Jacksonville Beach this past week but nothing was hitting any lures. I was informed all the mackerel and bluefish are gone so I switch to shrimp and cut some whiting

How 'bout this...cast it as far as you can, retrieve with short jerks to make it "pop" the water, unhook and release catch, repeat. Can I get paid for that "tutorial"? I do take cash, checks, bitcoin, etc.
