- The time has finally come for the mini RC General Lee to take flight! This past weekend we created a little scene and filmed a number of jumps. The goal with this, as talked about in previous videos is to try and somewhat match the jumps seen in the show as close as reasonably possible. This includes the height, pitch, distance, etc. For a first attempt, I'm calling this a win! We got some great jumps and learned a lot for our next attempt. This video was so much fun to make and I hope you all enjoyed watching. More on this project to come!

Well here's how I spent my Sunday afternoon 😆. Thanks everyone for watching! Overall everything went well but I've learned a few things from these jumps which I'll be changing for the next one. I'll talk more about the car, set up, and damage in the next video but I just wanted to get this short highlight reel out as soon as possible for you all to see. Hope you enjoyed. 👍
Hey man just to let you know on the original car the part that the tail lights connect too was paint jet black but only around the lights

The only thing missing was the freeze frame and the announcer saying something like "Oh, man. Those Duke boys are in for it now..."
No the classic yeehaw was missing too and the narrator was Waylon Jennings the guy that sang the song!! Lol not arguing with you just adding on I got a good laugh when you said that so thank you have a good day bro!!

Heck yeah! Been looking forward to this, that and the Drift 240sx.. or 180sx depending on what side of the world you're on I believe. This channel actually inspired me to get back into model car building. I only ever built one, and I was an impatient 12yr old kid so it looked like crap. It was a 69 charger, close to this one, but I painted it black with red accents. The one I'm finishing up now is a 57 Bel Air. Based on the one from Return to Macon County (If ya know ya know.) It's my Dad's dream car, and I wanted to build it for him just cuz I know he'll love it. It's almost done, not perfect, but it's only my 2nd one. So I'm still learning and gathering tools. 😊

Have you thought about getting one of those small mini cameras and puting in the car for a pov of the jump that be sweet, if you could find on that could be Bluetooth to a phone so you could drive it in pov I bet the jumps would be even better. It would be cool if you could make a video with Roscoe's Cop car chasing the General around some of the roads you have made!! I know that would take a lot of effort to say the least but I think it would increase some of your videos likes and subscriptions because you would certainly get them all from me that I can muster. If you could pull that off with RC's I think people would love that!

Man I loved it, your working with a smaller scale. So I know that's not easy.
It might need a little more power or less incline on the ramp. So it travels a bit further.
ever think of using bolsa wood to make fences or half a barn to run through?? it's relatively cheap I think and could be fun for effects. just a thought. like the work you do! looks great!

Id like to have one but id have to buy it already assembled as i have no desire to buy all the stuff to build rc cars. Im just a fan of the general that wouod like to mess with an RC version once in awhile. If someone has one for sale im interested
