I hope you all enjoyed this video. It's gonna take me some time to do the brushless conversion so I thought I'd make a quick update video in the meantime since a lot of people have asked about the status of this project. Jumps may have been a little lame but still had fun. 👍
hi sir i really like your work, just i want to give advice not about this video but about previous videos you should try to put rapper wheels in front and leave the rear wheel the same (3d printed) therefore the front wheels will not slide too that will give you better traction in drift
Fantastic job on The General Lee, looks so good I need to build one. Just one thing... the tail panel should be semi gloss black, I'm sure tho someone brought that up 🇬🇧
@@thebandit7408 I just watched John Snyders video on General Lee's 5 Mistakes where he says is should be flat black but semi is OK, which looks like his is in the video, lots of variations, matt black is I think is the same as semi, I use semi on all my hoofs and tail panels, just looks better than flat in my opinion, keep making those videos
@@garyslentzii2796 best part is, he kept it chrome so critics got somthin to complain about. I know you ain't complaining but just pointing it out lamo
I love that jump over the Styx River in the films opening! If you look close the car literally folds into an L when it lands and then they do a cutaway of another car driving away. That's such a big jump I don't even think you could do it with an RC car and come away unscathed!! Bro if you would put one of these cars together brushless and tell me how much it cost to buy one from you like this I would do it!!! I'm probably not the only one either!!!
Awesome video guy the general lee looks awesome yeah you need to make some modifications on it but I know you will do a great job 👍🏻👍🏻can’t wait to see more on the general lee
thanks for the update but for the people's build featured at the end: great work, you folks are talented & i hope to see more of your work featured in the future.
Honestly, I think things are coming along well, nothing to be discouraged about 👍 I mean, isn't that what 'test runs' are for? Lots of positives to build on!
Fun idea to say the least. One detail that I noticed that may sound like a bit like a nit pick, but on the real General Lee the rear panel around the tail lights is flat black not orange.
Awesome build Yeah definitely need a lot more speed to really send it If you make landing ramps spaced just right and at the right pitch It will be a lot easier on the suspension and you could jump further The landings will look Smooth also Can't wait to see the next vid with the faster motor 🔥👍✌️
i heard in the last vid about this about how you make custom rc's for people and i want one ive looked on your site but theres no custom build section if you do custom rc's for pay would you make just a body for a 1/18th scale? btw im not 100% if im gonna do it if you say you do but theres a chance
Would you be able to run one of these 1/25th scale cars on a possible "real life simulator" and see how long they can last with average driving? I seen a video where a guy used 4 rc cars tied them to a pole and let them do circles until total failure to see how each one handled. Was very interesting to watch what had happened and i think it would be super cool to see something like that with one of these 1/25th scale chassis i see you use a lot. Thanks for reading! From 🇨🇦
You gotta reach 60mph. 😂 probably missed that episode. Kidding brother. I agree car lands pretty good with that suspension. I gotta be careful with mine when I try the same on an upcoming video. Nice job keep it coming just avoid those ramps from bouncing the car and you’ll get it. Maybe land it on another ramp once you figure out the distance. That’s what I have in mind with mine. Good luck.
You know in Hollywood they made a little sharp upturn at the end of the ramp to make the car jump higher, making it look like it was flying through the air. Little FYI.

Where can I buy one
Could you try to make a scale 5th wheel or truck and trailer?
I’m a big fan - vinyl stickers of the cousins in the car would have looked cool too - on the windows :)
Awesome work !!!
Fantastic job on The General Lee, looks so good I need to build one. Just one thing... the tail panel should be semi gloss black, I'm sure tho someone brought that up 🇬🇧
No it suppose to be "trim black" some say matt or flat but it was never semi gloss black

Yes… rear panel is supposed to be flat black….
@@thebandit7408the guy who designed it said flat black
This is and is going to be a fun series to watch.
One of the key things in the TV jumps is the dirt - maybe a line of dust/soil colored poster paint powder at the lip of the ramp might help?
Very true. There's a lot more concrete than dirt around here but I'll see what I can do. Was thinking some kind of sawdust or powder might work well.
@@MakeItRC Needs to be very dry to avoid 'clumping'. Apply through a sieve!
Love the content man been a sub for years. God bless and hope all is well.

Ahh brings back memories of the good ol ' days. Thanks
Fron when we were all good ol' boys
This video was still enjoying to watch even if the jump was underwhelming.

That first jump thru the barrels was 100% correct to what WOULD have happened in the real world if someone tried that :D

Can’t wait for those beauty shots of jumps
Looking forward to more jumps!

"Kangaroo with a red bull addiction" I've never heard a more accurate description of this car

That's an awesome little car, just needs a black rear panel to make it more accurate :)
I want a completed one so bad. Doesn't have to jump just something I can have fun with.
Forgot to paint the tail light panel black. That was a eye sore for me. Good work though I enjoy your vids
I love the content you made and the picture of my car in your video just made my day hahahha😂😂
Thanks for sharing. 👍
Great energy

Filling the trunk with moonshine will make this high octane. ;)
Please address the rear tail light pan.
It should be painted black.
As a fan of The Dukes Of Hazzard, this is really bothering me.
I’m new to the channel and this is the second video I have watched of yours I’m really enjoying your content keep up the good work 👍👍

You should do a video on how you engineered that sweet ramp lol.

Love your videos, man your talented maybe try changing the gearing for more speed before the trying the brushless
Build looks great now toss in a dynamite brushless and battery from a losi mini and unleash the fury
Pretty cool

Have you seen the super scale 2021 stuff?
The added weight of all those components would not serve this project well.
How much is it to make these cars?
whered you get the wheels?
Hi love ur videos
Perhaps a better gear ratio it might do the trick
I'm sure you know this already but, if you watch the later episodes, they switched to miniatures for some of the stunts.
You need roscoes cop car and boss hogs Cadillac
To make it go faster, it would be cool if you made like a up scaled version of that electric booster from hot wheels. Just a random thought
lol That would be interesting. 👍
You need a scale kick-ramp.
How much do you want for it
It may be losing traction on the ramp too.
I have the body and everything but I don't have a 3d printer to print a rc chassis 😭😭
The Duke of Hazzard
GREETINGS from INDIA
U should use a brushless motor in ur every car
3d print a ramp
dopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
You should sell custom models
I'm doing a big jump soon
Not an actual repro. The area around the tail lights should be flat black, not orange.
ello mate!!!
I wanna buy him
blablabla ... shu up n play with it
