Ok all jokes aside can we just appreciate the courage of that Uber driver for flat out refusing to drive for two potential robbers? They could have been armed or violent but he still had the guts to just say no.
I woulda been so scared, I don’t even know what I would’ve done. I woulda probably drove and got shot. I respect that man, what a horrible thing they did to him. Jeez
Its more of a situation where he sensed they were not real robbers (there a several hints), but he was feeling uncomfortable with the situation so refused the ride. Good decision, because the police could get involved, weapons drawn etc.
They literally think it’s so funny that they put a random person trying to do their job in actual danger. “Oh but he didn’t get shot so no harm done.” I’D BE TERRIFIED IF A BUNCH OF COPS POINTED GUNS AT ME AND I THOUGHT I WAS JUST IN CONTACT WITH REAL ROBBERS. that’s not a prank it’s being an awful person and not caring about how your actions affect other people
Its also terrifying to think, especially now, after the murder of Floyd and the BLM movement, that this could have gotten the uber driver easily killed if he was black. If they were seen even just talking to a POC that could have been the end of that person's life. They should be ashamed. Have they apologized?
Also interesting how the people that these pranksters always terrorize are service workers. Its almost like they don't consider how their actions affect service industry workers... Why can't youtube prank channels just leave them alone!!
They walked away with a little bit of probation and community service and a misdemeanor. A slap on the wrist. They genuinely should have gone to jail for this.

If anything colored people, have more privelage than we whites, or, at least some equal. Race claims when a crime is commited get looked at and there's a bigger penalty, if you lie. So, when it comes to court, argue it was a hate crime affectively, and boom, there's ya privelage. When any racism is commited against a white person, it can get shrugged off, because it isn't "racist if it's on a white person" or "white people don't experience racism" which is reverse racism.. So, when a black person commits a crime against a white person, without context, mind, they could get away with it...
the fact that some people still defended these twins' action saying stuff like 'some people just cant take a joke' and 'its just a prank' is honestly so disgusting
Don’t these people know? As long as you say “It’s just a prank”, you aren’t guilty and any consequences don’t land on you. Even if an Uber driver almost gets shot. Gosh, people these days.
Imagine this: You're an uber drive that doesn't even earn that much money and just trying to feed your family. As usual, your just doing your job and then 2 people come into your car with ski masks on and a bag of money saying they are their new "getaway driver" whilst recording. You are so anxious and tell them to get out hoping nothing happens. 10 minutes later, 10 cops are pointing a gun at your head. You are so confused and scared..turns out it was for views. You're still still scared and never got even an apology for this.
There’s definitely this element of “oh this person just does a low paid service job so they’re less important, just a prop for a flashy video”. Service industry employees are so often the target of these things and it’s messed up.
A /prank/ is covering all of your siblings’ books with googley-eyes. A /prank/ is changing the autocorrect in your significant others phone so that every time they ask you to do the dishes, it autocorrects to Ham Sandwich. What they did was not a prank. It was a crime, and a slap in the face to the people who have been killed/thrown in jail for less.
I think they could have got away with it if they were wearing cartoony robber costumes and carrying sacks with big dollar signs on them. It would have also actually qualified as a prank.
That's a good point, of they had just done that then everyone would've had a good laugh about it. But they obviously wanted people to think that it was a real robbery, I dont understand why they thought that would be funny at all
This 'prank' is so messed up. They said themselves that their uber drive could've got shot by the police. There was a possibility someone died because of their prank and they still thought it was funny. I wouldn't be surprised if that uber driver would be traumatised by this situation, I know I would be.
The fact that they think their Uber driver, that poor, innocent man, being held at gunpoint (LITERALLY COULD HAVE BEEN SHOT) was funny and "cool" is just sickening.
Can you actually imagine if that Uber driver wasn’t white though? Shit could’ve gotten so much worse... I don’t even want to think about it. How can these guys think it’s funny that they put a mans life at risk?
2 things 1. I honestly can’t believe they were like bragging to a group of kids how they got police called on them and put their Uber in danger, completely delusional 2. The green screen skit had layers! Who directed that roller coaster, Quentin Tarantino?
2:14 that is actually a paradox. if they are being fake criminals and that's against the law, they're not fake criminals, but then they can't get charged for being fake criminals, so they're not criminals, but then they would be fake criminals *repeats infinitely*
Don't mind it being "ranty", their crime was serious, their attitude towards it was disgusting, and it needs to be covered by popular channels. Plus, this is the main channel where we don't get whacky and don't drink la'croix.
In Germany a guy did a similar thing, he did a 'bomb prank' and he got to court for it. He even laughed in court, I think cause he didn't really realize what consequences his actions might have. In the end, he got arrested for it, I think
@@mammoneymelon Literally. I'll never forget this one moment in my junior year. It might sound silly or melodramatic. But it always stuck with me. It was so short, seconds, but time felt frozen. We were all taking this math test, so everything was quiet. Then, we heard this single, resonating banging/hitting sound. I didn't really have friends in that class, or enemies, we didn't keep up with each other at all- but when we heard that, every one of us just froze. We were all looking around, at each other. We were distant but I swear you could feel the tension, the panic. Finally, someone picked up the heavy binder they had dropped. You couldn't hear it, but this class of 20 kids breathed out the biggest sigh of relief at once. It was like all of our heartbeats slowed at the same time. Even our two teachers were a little shaken. I think about that incident a lot. How all of us, 16/17-year-old kids, were so paralyzed with fear just because we were students & it was America. Everyone's eyes were communicating the same thing, because most -if not all- of us thought it was a gunshot from outside the room. Even if it didn't sound the same, no one was thinking about that. We were just terrified. Our government cares so little for our lives, that even those fortunate enough to never have experienced a shooting, live in constant fear. It still breaks my heart when I think about it.
pranks should not harm people or potentially put people in dangerous situations. shit like "fake robberies" and "fake sexual assault" (literally what the hell) are not pranks, they actively hurt people, but this is something we have been seeing time and time again where the prankers show absolutely no remorse. are these people really that lacking in compassion and genuine humor or what?
Okay so to make that have some semblance of sense in this argument, I am comparing these types of "humorous activities" to shock humor. I.E. what Shane did to get him cancelled like tf?
Ah yes, the good old "if they are twins it automatically isn't a crime" defense for committing crimes, it works twice as well if you cover your faces so no one can see you are twins
The skit on the dead wife, had me on the edge of my seat.. I would 100% prefer to watch a 2 hour extended version of that then watch that stupid prank video lol
They also did “pranks” where they pretend to be a cop and an inmate (it’s really odd ngl). Pretending to be a cop can result in charges depending on where you live and stuff.
I don’t get how two full grown men could think this was funny. These poor members of the public had no way of telling if this was a prank or not. Even so, most people would call the police either way. Better safe then sorry. I don’t understand how they didn’t think this could constitute a crime. This could have put other people in danger. This is why we always say never to prank call 911, for example. You’re pulling ressources to a fake situation where people could get hurt through something as simple as a misunderstanding. The police would respond, it’s their job. It’s also why we also tell you not to pretend to fake drown in a pool. The lifeguard is under obligation to help you and again you’re pulling ressources and wasting their time. Furthermore, they’re creating panic. They truly have no self awareness. No thought of the anxiety these people must be feeling. Is it a real bank robbery ? Am I in danger ? Do I call the police ? Especially, the Uber driver. He’s just trying to put money on the table and to have immature, selfish, 23 year old guys hop into his Uber claiming he’s their getaway driver? THE ANXIETY. He didn’t fucking sign up for this. He said it himself. It ain’t funny cause his job and his life are possibly on the line. Imagine how much he must have been stressed after being pulled over and guns pointed at him for something he wasn’t even part of. SMH
Yeah you’re right I feel so bad for the Uber driver just a guy trying to make a living and gets a gun pointed at him because of two idiots thinking they’re pranking people because their chromosome level is higher than snoop dogg on a Saturday
waqar ahmed I feel like life sentences should be reserved for people who intentionally commit crimes like murder, repeat assault/rape, child molesting etc. These guys are shit, but they just come off as ignorant and negligent douchebags, not hardened serial criminals. Definitely should be convicted and have tangible consequences for sure though. Shouldn't be hard considering they kinda incriminated themselves on camera for the whole thing 🥴
asmRTPOP Also this too. Though it does make me laugh how there's always the one person in the comments like "bUt WhY aRe YoU pUlLinG ThE RaCe CaRd ThO". Sorry, but no. Regardless of your political beliefs, I'd think it'd be obvious that pulling this kind of prank and getting the cops called on someone in the current social/political climate is just utterly oblivious and tone deaf. This could have easily spiraled beyond their ability to control the situation.
My dad has always said "It's not a joke unless people other than the one(s) that told the joke laugh" or something like that and I kinda think that that sentence is applying here...
I miss the pranks where it was things that are funny and confusing and not dangerous or traumatizing, like fake fart noises or walking an invisible dog. I would have been terrified if I were that uber driver.
I recommend vlog creations, they do confusing pranks like this such as replacing a “push” button on a door with “pull” and watching people figure out how to open it
I imagine their conversation being “So let’s harass random people” “How about an Uber driver who is just trying to make money and put food on the table!” -_-
@@justsomeguy2743 That does not excuse the fact that those twins committed a real crime (even though they call it a "prank") and basically made that Uber driver an accessory to crime.
Just Some Guy in a situation like this, they should’ve tipped him like 3x what the base price was. it’s sad that he probably wasn’t payed much even though his life was possibly in such serious danger ):
Imagine laughing at almost getting someone killed. This isn’t ignorant of people’s plights. This is absolutely evil. This is so disgustingly vile. I can’t even find the words
That's a bit extreme they didn't almost get someone killed they didn't report that he was armed and dangerous or anything like thatif the police responded with that level of intensity to actually kill someone it is a hundred percent on the cops and their reaction
@@Johnny-tq9no They did almost get someone killed... the cops could've shot that man. Yes it is on the cops for holding the Uber driver at gun point, but who put the driver into that situation?

Serial killer goes to court Serial killer: Your honor, chill it was just a prank... Judge: Oh, really? Well then I declare you not guilty. Serial killer: Wait, really?! Judge: *no*
You know what’s ironic about the “they’re twins, everyone knows twins do pranks”, is that twins are stereotypically sometimes a crime duo in fictional and real life history
This "prank" would have been a lot better if they wore those cartoonish robber outfits with the stripes and the eye mask, along with pillow cases with the big dollar sign on them
That would’ve actually been funny, because if everyone can very clearly tell it’s not real then it’s just two guys doing something silly in public instead of two guys pretending to commit a crime in public
A guy actually died because of a similar “prank”, he pretended to rob someone with a butchers knife while his friend recorded and the man he was fake robbing shot him in self defense he died at the scene. So yeah these pranks are fucking disgusting and harms everyone involved
@@jamesvangoethem5738 I'm pretty sure he meant fucking, as the word FUCKING from the verb TO FUCK You know, those things called words, that have no power and no inherent meaning and can't hurt you
I like how Danny is still open to the idea that he might be wrong. The title is "MAYBE the worst prank". He's acknowledging that he could be wrong. What a great guy.
These guys are literally laughing about how police officers pulled guns on the Uber driver like it’s some joke. That must have been terrifying for him. And they’re just laughing about it. He could’ve gotten shot. They’re horrible people. 😠
it’s shitty how disconnected they were from the very real danger they put him in. It’s also shitty how we have gotten so used to expecting cops to just act like wild animals and kill people that the people we hold responsible are the ones who “trigger” cops (the twins for pulling the prank, people who swat each other, anyone who resists arrest etc)
literally if they were black they would probably be dead, or be treated way differently by the public. bit odd to think about it w the whole blm movement if it were a black person doing this.
I feel nervous around cops, especially when they have guns just on their person. I can’t imagine the fear that goes on when the cops are threatening with those guns. The driver could’ve had a panic attack or something worse over that kind of fear! Those fucking twins deserve jail time.
fr, their white privilege doesnt enable them to think what could possibly go wrong, when people die innocently every day for things that they get away with 'scot free'
@@SwizzleDrizzl it might not seem like a race thing but if they were POC they might have gotten a worst sentence or the police might of just shot them then and there. I mean the uber driver had a bit of an accent while speaking so i assume he might not be from the states and he almost got shot because cops thought he was a getaway driver. edit: i found out they're half-chinese but to me they are white-passing so my point still stands
you know i’m sure a lot of people wish it weren’t always down to race, like the POC racially profiled and killed by police, even in their own homes. all she said was, a POC person wouldn’t dare to pull something like that because of what happens to POC people.
I just realized they’re still active on TH-cam with millions of subs…. so like you can break the law on TH-cam and put people in harms way and take up police’s time, and your channel is fine, but if you include a couple seconds of a copywritten music in your videos, TH-cam will come after you like you killed someone
This prank isn’t even original. Another guy already did the “asking directions to the nearest bank with a mask and duffel bag” thing. They even stole his joke about a large withdrawal.
These kind of influencers just have a completely different set of morals. The fact that they were expecting people to realize it's a prank says a lot about their job: they spend most of their time just doing random shit on the streets and having people make silly faces because they know they're on camera, to the point where it seems like they think life is one big game of clout chasing where everything is fair game as long as you film it happening.
It's because they're ridiculously out of touch with reality. Any normal person would go "wtf that's insane and stupidly dangerous" if their friend/twin/whoever suggested they rob a bank as a prank.
I also have no idea why they kept that segment in the video as it just makes them look that much worse than they already did. It was already hard enough to watch without realizing they could potentially have killed their Uber driver. 💀
"we thought that, us being twins, people would know it is a prank"
then proceed to wear ski masks so that absolutely no one can see they're twins

When any racism is commited against a white person, it can get shrugged off, because it isn't "racist if it's on a white person" or "white people don't experience racism" which is reverse racism..
So, when a black person commits a crime against a white person, without context, mind, they could get away with it...

being in school in the US is literally a nightmare
And the fake kidnappings. Just yikes, its so bad

Yeah who cares if they are famous, they possibly caused someone to have PTSD
They can most definitely sue for emotional trauma with probable cause as THEY THEMSELVES SAID HE WAS HELD AT GUNPOINT.
Like, bro why would you joke about causing a random dude to almost get arrested or shot?
I don't think giving someone PTSD is a crime
This prank isn’t even original. Another guy already did the “asking directions to the nearest bank with a mask and duffel bag” thing. They even stole his joke about a large withdrawal.
ikr, like if your gonna get arrested, at least commit an original crime.
This prank isn’t even a prank
wow... that makes it so much worse, dissapointed but not surprised.
who'd they steal it from?
Also in the original prank you're talking about at least It's obvious that It's a prank
Did they? For a second I was like "wow, that's actually creative of them, sounds like a fun prank", but glad to know that it was too good to be true.
Nah they know what they're doing, they're just using kids for money.
I don't think they even have morals :/
one of these days these idiots are gonna find the fine, fine line between "youtuber prank" and "snuff film"
U have just the right amount of likes
0:57 Danny, explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog. You understand it better, but the frog dies in the process.
Lmao 😂
them laughing at the fact that they got guns pulled on an innocent person is one of the most evil things i’ve seen on youtube , what the actual hell
I also have no idea why they kept that segment in the video as it just makes them look that much worse than they already did. It was already hard enough to watch without realizing they could potentially have killed their Uber driver. 💀
especially when we hear so many stories of cops actually shooting innocent people? god he could have got him killed that's just vile
I like that Danny’s background is slowly falling apart just like 2020
Yeah. Like the first time it was GREG, then GEG and then R. :/
*insert cool Name here* FR
600th like here congrats 🎉
@@tigernaroar9481 now it's nothing
I noticed it was falling apart, but I didn't understand why. Thank you bringing it to my attention that it's a metaphor.
