They were also nominated back in 2015 from the album “Found in Far Away Places” You really should check out more of there material if you haven’t already. “Phantom Anthem” is a solid solid album. So many hooks, breakdowns, and guitar melody throughout. Very progressive actually! Generations is amazing!

My question is, how did it take you until 2017 to hear ABR!? I remember going to my first ABR show in 2005 at a dive bar in Daytona Beach that held maybe 50 people.

They're an amazing band that that doesn't get the attention I feel they deserve. Also, you are fuckin amazing. It's not what your normally listen too, but you should give The plot in you a try. In my opinion Hole in the wall, feel nothing, & Pill head are there best songs but they're all pretty good. One of the only bands I like that aren't too heavy which says a lot because I like mainly heavier stuff
Please check out Spirit Breaker, or Beauty in Tragedy, by ABR. It's a little bit different from this song, but it shows another side of ABR. The side that churns out true beauty in the form of music. Seriously, listen to those two songs and to the lyrics. Shit is deep.

Man like other people have said, August Burns Red- Messengers album is a TOP TO BOTTOM. Absolute heaviness and lyricism all in one package.

A band I'm sure you'll love is Sylosis. Empyreal, leech, or with their old vocalist after lifeless years, and my personal favorite Blackest Skyline.
Not sure if this was your first time listening, but I distinctly remember a child-like grin when I heard the opening riff with the full band
"The Frost" is the best song of 2017 followed closely by Sikth's "Crack of Light." Just my opinion, of course.
Their album Constellations is ridiculous dude. a must listen for sure.
Also August Burns Red Invisible Enemy. It's their other new one. It's better than Frost.
