yeah i try to slow it down because i know most people in games aren't above gm or diamond and really it just boils down to how bad you wanna be at the top i'm not even the best but i'm pretty good at the game i think my main goal rn as a player is to just hit gm this season if not i'll hit it next season but i'm super close and if i do i'll make a video on it soon
Fantastic value content right here! I love the VOD-review style walkthrough. Keep it up - with this kind of quality output, you really deserve a 100x on the subs!
thanks buddy i appreciate you and everybody honestly i used to coach league of legends tournaments so i understand people need in depth reviews of stuff
I like the pause and breakdown of each sequence of events. It's helpful how you scroll through the map and describe what each player or role is trying to do in that moment and why that's beneficial or detrimental to the team.
This channel is gonna blow up. So much value. Personally, I would love to hear your thoughts on tanking as a solo tank. I feel like if I'm the only tank I have to go Strange or maybe Groot. Once again, great content!
Strang magneto and Groot are good solo tank options magneto is the best one into a 3 dps comp cause he has better sustain and groot is better into double tank comp cause he can seperate tanks from the healers and strange is good into double tank comp and 2 dps and sometimes 3 dps strange is very very strong rn
I'm a diamond 5 tank in ow2 which struggles in rivals because i believed 6v6 is a whole new game but its literally the rules of overwatch: how to make space? By being a threat and pulling attention and if course we have the rules: 1v1 Level of aggression Value of space Timing
Telling us to look around more was very important to me. I'm a tank main and have so much issue tracking where people are and if people are even still alive.
yeah it's hard to remember all the stuff but it comes with time for sure i look behind me every 5 seconds sometimes depending on the comp if they are dive heavy i look behind me
Was a healer main in Overwatch but for some reason cannot find a healer I enjoy and can play well with in Rivals so gonna give tank a try, great effort on the video man keep it up
yeah sure i've not played thor in awhile but i played him a lot in platinum he's kinda weak rn in the meta but he's good if you can get the hang of him i'll make one for sure soon
Hi, great video. Love the breakdown as others said. Since practicing in quick play only offers one side of the map, could you maybe show a comp game that either started out strong but that you lost in the end *or* a game where regardless of the comp you lost because of player behavior? Interesting to hear your how thoughts on how to analyze mid-game, and whether that's something us noobs can improve at. Thanks, happy holidays, and merry Christmas!
Very informative! Great analysis! I learned a lot! Subscribed! Quick question: am I wrong for thinking that on some maps it’s better to use a DPS like Punisher on the flank? Him setting up a turret front line really only works against weak teams. Thx and Merry Christmas!
Nah it's really just situational every game is different and you really make anything work if it's thought out well enough. merry Christmas to you as well
@@kibspoker no problem bro yeah i'll make a dps one next i got a game i played perfect on in quickplay i can show you my thought process on what happens
sometimes it is good to go back but here if you keep killing people and making them 5v6 or 4v6 they cannot win because the numbers advantage is just to great for them
I tuned into your recent stream and saw you get frustrated with a Peni main. I was actually about to ask what you expect from teammates who main her; how can you utilize her abilities so she fulfills her tank role effectively and what would you wished that particular Peni in your game should’ve done instead?
actually i ended up winning a bunch of games really peni is a anti flanker tank that person wasn't using there stun i'm not always like that one that one particular game made me super mad i think the best thing to do is use your mines correctly and stun people to be able to help your team that person in that game i think ended up going 6/10 which is terrible stats for a grandmaster lobby
@@StrongSideJack How much would you say her stun web can level the battlefield? Maybe you would’ve escaped that venom if she used it and the team would still have their support. And then the mines, they’re best for blocking enemy flanks?
@@V0SRU it's massive it can stop ults and everything if penni would of stopped venom from diving on us we would of won the game for sure because we went into overtime
@@V0SRU it depends on how fast you do it it's a small window but like in that game i was just mad because the penni was not doing well and she was also blaming the team too happens sometimes i'm not to worried about it everyone makes mistakes
This is 80% of my games, but I'm on the losing side, telling everyone in comms to stop staggering in and group up, while still matching the healing and DPS of the other team.
yeah it helps to at least find one other person you can play with honestly once you hit platinum or if you are already platinum i recommend trio que or duo it's almost impossible to get anything above diamond without duo cause it's organized teams and pro players
Ive been playing a lot of just quick matches and Ive noticed the DPS players will just run in the front line and just take dmg and not caring if they die. Ive been playing Warlock and Im running out of healing because Im having to heal soooo much. Last night I switched off of Warlock and played Cap because I said screw it Imma play someone fun since they dont care and after the match every one of them had 15+ deaths. I felt like it was me vs 5. Its crazy how people just think they can run in with dos and after rhey keep dying they just keep doing rhe same thing over and over.
quickplay is quickplay if you wanna get better jump into ranked a learn from there once you get a good understanding of games high level ranked players are so much more organized than people in gold and stuff only because they have played longer understand the game and want to win over all
You mentioned how Thor was out of position when he went after Moon Knight. I often do the same thing. When you have a character like Moon Knight flanking and picking off your team, what are you supposed to do as a tank?
group with your team and wait for the enemy team to mis postion. if they don't it's really like a game of chess if one piece is out of position the whole board falls
Is this stuff that comes to one after practicing enough or is it something you have to learn? I am struggling to read situations sometimes. I decided to main Tank pretty much right away and I have 20h on Magneto now. Ty so much for this video
I think if you just played enough you would intuitively figure some of this out but at this point hero shooters have plenty of theory to learn from to make it easier.
Just takes time and the right circumstances I've played competitively for years some people it comes naturally some people it takes years to learn both are okay
you can make him work in any elo but i recommend learning a main tank like strange magneto or groot because it won't work every game and if you play thor and venom only you will get games in higher elo that just won't work
i climbed to platinum solo but i do agree with that once you hit diamond and grandmaster you need people because the players are so good that really it's almost impossible to get to that level of play even the top 500 players play with people but you can hit high elo solo i've done it
the pace of the video is great. A lot of high level players rush through their explanations.

Pretty helpful. Been trying to get good at Cap and Groot, but sometimes it's hard to tell if I'm doing my job right or completely throwing lol.
i recommend staying away from cap he's very very weak but if you like him play him but i don't think he's a good tank

When you crashed why didn’t the game end? Every time someone leaves the game automatically ends and that player is penalized that I’ve seen…
if you come back quick enough it won't penalize you or end the game but you have to quick

What’s high and low “elo?” Sorry, I don’t know the terminology in MR yet…
high elo is high rank and low elo is low rank basically
I main venom and thor with my friends ad we just hit gold last night. Do you recommend venom at diamond? Thats our goal for now.
